  1. Marquis is our #5 starter. The big sign outside is a marquee.
  2. I'll be in the stands at the Texas A&M-Miami game, but you can bet I will be keeping an eye on my Blackberry all afternoon for Cub updates. Even though I'll be able to watch tomorrow, I'd rather we just clinch today with a win. I'm not confident that the Brewers can beat the Reds today.
  3. I'll actually be in the stands for the Texas A&M-Miami game, but I will be keeping a close eye on my Blackberry for Cub updates.
  4. I call the role of drunken Cub fan.
  5. Well, so long folks. Have a great evening!
  6. Day to day, I don't think it's anything serious. Just a bit of a hand soreness, if I recall correctly. joint irritation
  7. The Cubs were down 8-0 earlier this year against the Rockies. If memory serves, I think I sung "Go Cubs Go" at the end of that one.
  8. Good Z was left behind at Wrigley North. Bad Z took the mound today.
  9. I bet Big Z goes yard today and has at least 2 or 3 RBI's.
  10. Not once in 7 pitches?!?! He's headed to the DL. Not saying he's hurt or anything, just that last Sunday was special and we shouldn't expect him to shut anyone down. That was really his only great start in a while. I hope it continues and he'll be fine, but let's not pretend he morphed into mr. unhittable for good. Did you really expect him to throw another no hitter? No, but we didn't expect this, that's for sure. A double play now and he only gives up 1 run. Or he could give up a grand slam. :blackeye:

  13. Seems like Big Z is missing Geo right now. :blackeye:

  15. One pitch and the no hitter is already gone. DFA this loser.

  17. Just got this response from a Mexican friend of mine:
  18. +1 -1 I want to celebrate in Wrigleyville tonight, plus half the Cubs fans out there won't be able to see them clinch if its on FOX with the blackouts Today is not on WGN and is in the middle of a work day, so I would think even less will be able to watch the game today. Plus, I would like to see the Cubs clinch on the field. Not sitting at home waiting to see what the Brewers do.
  19. joint irritation, whatever that means
