  1. WTF?

  3. He's had the brain cyst since his assistant days at Notre Dame. I think it's ESPN that is reporting that he has a heart muscle defect and has been to the hospital multiple times with chest pains since the SEC Championship game.
  4. Roland is a senior, so barring any kind of medical redshirt his Texas A&M career is done. Hopefully he can play overseas in a year or two if that's what he wants to do. He actually apologized to one of his teammates for getting hurt and not being able to finish the game.
  5. I am an Aggie and was watching the game as the injury happened. It took me several seconds to realize what had happened to D-Ro's leg. I knew sonething wasn't right, but my brain couldn't process it right away. I had a hard time sleeping that night. Derrick Roland is a great kid and a very hard worker. I hate to see that kind of injury happen to anyone, but especially someone like him. Luckily a doctor was sitting behind the UW bench. He came right out and had the leg back in place & stabilized within 10 seconds or so. The said it was a clean break similar to what Kenyon Marton had many years ago, so hopefully a full recovery is likely.
  6. I can't access it at work, either.

  8. craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap
  9. HOSSA!!!!!
  10. Frustrating game so far. Still trying to figure out how Toews missed the wide open net earlier.
  11. I'm all for trading Theriot and wouldn't be hurt if DLee was traded or not re-signed. I'm not really anxious to see Aramis go, though. I guess I remember the parade of third basemen we witnessed before he arrived and am scared that would happen all over again. We'll see if/when Vitters ever makes it to Wrigley. I am intrigued by the thought of transitioning Aramis to first as he ages and is no longer an above average 3B.
  12. :clapping:
  13. Jacoby Ellsbury
  14. I expected to not be paying 7.5M a year to the worst player in the majors. Given the history of this team and the GM, why on earth would you expect that?
  15. This whole situation is a mess, but did anyone really expect it to turn out any better than what it did?
  16. Common sense says Silva is in the rotation. Especially with Lilly's status up in the air.
  17. Why is there a comma there? Because he hit that little button to the right of the M key.
  18. Well at least it's not so boring around here anymore.
  19. But how much of that is on the receivers? Cutler has been horrible and there has been virtually no running game to balance the offense. I'm not saying that the WR group is outstanding, but I think there is plenty of talent there. It's just not being utilized right now for a variety of reasons. I wouldn't be adverse to adding a top flight WR this off-season, but if resources are limited I think there are many more pressings needs for this team.
  20. #1 priority has to be OL #2 & #3 would be the secondary & DL I actually like our WR group. They need to get better, but I think there is plenty of talent there and they are very young. I'm a little concerned about RB, but improving the OL should greatly help that situation. The deepest position on the team is LB, IMO.
  21. It's what Cubs fans are masters of.
  22. This is a joke, right?
  23. I like this much better than Byrd, Pods, or Ankiel.
  24. I'd prefer Cameron at the contract he received. +1
