    I heard Lee was going to have off-season neck replacement surgery. Ex-NFL player Merton Hanks has been selected as the donor.

    Well I'm happy to see that Milton offered up an apology, but I wonder how genuine it really is. We can't really expect him to come back next year and be a different person. He is who he is and if he's not performing he is going to cause problems. If he is performing, he would be a huge part of this team. But is that a risk the Cubs can take? I don't know.

    I don't think that is it at all. I think most people see think the racism excuse is a cop out. I don't for a second doubt that Bradley was subject to some racism. What he said. Where in Chicago did you live? I grew up in the NW suburbs. Well no wonder you never saw racism, the people you grew up with have never seen a black person. I figured something asinine like this was coming. That's not the case at all, but it sounds like you already have your mind made up so I won't even waste my time arguing this point.

    Im pretty sure that not everyone of his teammates like him and his antics, showing them up, etccc. Lets ask Michael Barret his opinion, or the countless number of OF's hes showed up. Michael Barrett is his teammate? When did the Cubs reacquire him?

Where in Chicago did you live? I grew up in the NW suburbs. And before it gets asked, I've lived in the Dallas suburbs here (north Dallas area and now between Dallas & Ft. Worth).

    I must have grown up in bizarro Chicago or something. I'm not saying I never heard anything racist in my 18 years there, but I never heard the N word used so causually as I did when I moved to Texas. And even in my early days in the Chicago area it was usually an older person using the word in reference to an object or action. In Texas it's used in reference to people.

    i like how people are so adamant that there's no racism going on among the 40,000 mostly white and drunk fans. Who said there was no racism? I'm sure there's racism at 100% of major league ballparks. But he makes it seem like he is Jackie Robinson in 1950's America and that's just not the case. no he's saying that he heard racist things yelled and him and apparently his kid, which i don't doubt. you're the one saying he is making it seem like jackie robinson in 1950s america. So you believe that his 3-year old kid was racially taunted by Cubs fans????

    Let me be the first to call BS on this one. I don't deny that racism still exists, but I can't possibly imagine a racial slur against a 3-year old kid. I doubt the type of people yelling out racial slurs are going to know what Bradley's [expletive] kid looks like. Where did he have his kid sitting anyways? The bleachers? As long as his kid was in the stadium, there is a 100% chance that he was racially taunted. In fact, I've heard that the Cubs have licensed their logo to a KKK hood making company and they expect it to be a best seller.

    He acted like a baby about the move to 3B when their GM told him about it. One meeting with Nolan Ryan and MY was all for the move. True story, look it up.

    I decided to give Marisa Miller another chance. She effed it up once by pretending like she didn't know me when I showed up at her photo shoot.

    The question is: what would be the purpose of that? If indeed Bradley refused to play when asked to, such a grievance could backfire easily. What if he's claiming he didn't want to pinch-hit because he thought he was injured? Then un-suspend him and put him on the DL. That would work out better for us in the long run.

    Hundley was flicking off fans after home runs. It's close. I was too young to really remember all the behind-the-scenes stuff with Kingman. I knew he wasn't liked, but that's about it. But Hundley and Kingman were white, so Cub fans obviously hate Uncle Milty more. You know, since we're all racists and what not.

    Right now I have low expectations for next year. We'll see what Ricketts and Hendry do in the offseason to change that, if anything.

    You don't know that. Yeah he does. Who's replacing Bradley in RF next year? I'm eager to hear your response. Why don't you wait until we see who actually will replace him next year before you make any proclamations as to who will have a better season. Speculation at this point is like pissing in the wind. Or you can look at the realistic in-house and free agent RF options for next year and see that I'm right Maybe we get someone else to play CF and Fukudome moves back to RF. He can most certainly outproduce Milton next season. You being a hardheaded ass about the situation doesn't make you right.
