  1. Yes. i don't know if you're just trying to be the fanningest fan that ever fanned, or if you truly have so little going on in your life that you allow baseball games involving strangers from a decade ago to devastate you. either way, pretty sad. I ended up watching it, but it was very painful to relive those events. It's more than just one game. It's more than a series. It's more than a season. It's a [expletive] lifetime. Some of my greatest memories of childhood are of going to Wrigley with my dad. It was (and still is) a great bonding experience for us. He's been a die hard Cub fan all his life and I want the Cubs to win more for him than I do myself because I know how happy it would make him. The celebrations in Chicago would be legendary. My life wasn't devastated by that game, but it still hurts and it will until the Cubs do win it all. And if my dad dies before that happens, then 2003 will probably forever haunt me much like 1984 does when we actually had World Series tickets in our hands until the collapse in San Diego.
  2. Glad I don't get ESPN Classic anymore.
  3. I'm hoping for Ryno just to piss off some of the posters here.
  4. Ugh. Cowboy fans will be unbearable tomorrow.
  5. LOL. A manager traded for a couple of minor leaguers?
  6. This will be a nice reminder that aTm shouldn't have left their daddy. http://texags.com/images/forum/icon26.gif
  7. I thought he did that every day.
  8. Can't really call it a must win, but the Aggies NEED to beat Arkansas this weekend.
  9. really? you lost by 1 point to a top 10 team and were a -3 in turnovers. I assume you didn't watch the game? We looked good in the first half, but the second half was atrocious. Very disappointing. I'm probably overreacting about Arkansas, but I certainly don't feel good about that game right now.
  10. You're a professional, for [expletive]'s sake. It doesn't matter what [expletive] number you hit in the lineup, jut hit the GD ball. It's not like they're moving you from position to position in the field.
  11. Yeah, I messed up earlier. And Jabari had to postpone his trip until next month.
  12. An absolutely horrible job of play calling today from Mike Sherman. It looked like Mike Martz took over his brain. Unexplainable to me. Our team looked completely out of shape and once again it seems as if our senior QB curse is going to strike again this year. Completely disgusted with the performance today. I'm afraid Arkansas is going to roll us next week. I hope the team proves me wrong.
  13. I think it's because both are good at basketball. But I'll wait for further elucidation. They'll both also star on our nationally ranked Spelling Bee team if we can land them
  14. OK, maybe he was just drunk. In other news, saw this on SI.com and got a chuckle. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/writers/andy_staples/09/22/big12.agreement/index.html?eref=sihp&sct=hp_wr_a2
  15. Had a friend tell me last night that Missouri has not won a conference championship in any sport since joining the Big 8. Is that really true? I have a hard time believing that.
  16. I'm really torn as to whether or not I want to watch this.
  17. Greatness. He went scorched earth yesterday afternoon.
  18. I think Mizzou will stay as long as the Big 10 doesn't want them.
  19. #1 2012 recruit Shabazz Muhammed and #1 2013 recruit Jabari Parker will be in College Station this weekend for official visits. I realize that they are both longshots (Parker's dad starred at A&M and his HS teammate Kendrick Nunn has already committed to the Aggies), but just the fact that they are taking officials to A&M is a big deal for our program. Get one or both of them and it would HUGE.
  20. Probably to your mom's house if the line isn't too long. Well I had sex with your wife. Well played, Costanza.
  21. Probably to your mom's house if the line isn't too long.
  22. They're stopping everything? That's funny. So bitter Bitter about ending up in a much better, infinitely more stable conference? Apparently. And let's not pretend that the conference is all smiles for your fb team. You just signed up to never play in a bcs game. Never once have I said that I expect to move the SEC and start winning a bunch of conference championships. Every Aggie I know and have talked to realize that it's going to be rough going on the football field for a few years, but it's not like we're going to be doormats, either.
  23. After the Pac-12 shot them down. It's loyalty by process of elimination. I don't think that's how it worked. Hard to say, but it sounds like the Pac got tired of waiting and feeling like a pawn. If Texas came back and said we'd like to join and share more revenue from the LHN, I'm not sure they could say yes fast enough. That was a direct shot at DeLoss Dodds & Co.
