    Actually I am planning on it. A friend of mine actually played for Aledo a while back. I may head out there, too. Bralon Addison plays right after Gray and Trey Williams plays in the last game of the night. Any idea how much tickets cost for that?

    The Reds were 79-83, the Cubs were 71-91 last season. And the Reds didn't have the injury problems the Cubs did. The Reds can certainly be contenders in the division next year, but I wouldn't say they're "much closer" to contention than the Cubs, nor were they quite a bit better than the Cubs last season. Cubs are also currently without two of their best offensive players from last year. What happened to Castro?

    I'm OK with Sumlin, just not happy with the way this was handled. Sherman had a really good recruiting class committed. Sumlin should be able to keep that intact and maybe add a UH recruit or two. Anxious to see who is on his staff.

    Yeah, I don't see how Roy becomes a Bull. He'd have to be amnestied, and then all of the teams under the salary cap would have to pass on him at the minimum for Chicago to get him (of course, the bidding could go up from there if multiple teams end up wanting him). And if he does pass through all those teams, wouldn't that be a sign that he really has nothing left? He's retiring. Knees must be really bad.
