I think Griffin will be a great pro QB, but that is a lot to give up for him. Assuming the Rams don't have Jerry Angelo drafting for them they should be really good in a few years.

Is it just me, or is Brewer's jumpshot aim pretty terrible? It seems like most other jump shooters are either long or short, but usually on line. Brewer's shots veer to the right a lot of times....even on free throws. They're really ugly if the camera happens to be directly behind the shot. Yeah, I've never noticed before, but I was giggling at his free throws yesterday. One in particular when the camera was right behind him went way right. I couldn't believe how off it was.

I think there is a very real possibility that the area surrounding Wrigley doesn't survive the celebration. I tell people here in Texas that I think the whole city may implode. If it does, I will go with it. No way the Cubs are in the WS and I'm not in Chicago even if I can't get a ticket. -

I think the Trade Machine thing may not be working. I can't get any deal with any team approved.

Not that I wouldn't do that deal, but who's our backup center after that trade? Hedo by default. FWIW the NBA Trade Machine says that deal is not doable. It didn't say why, though.
