Stop losing to bad SEC teams so that OU's win over ATM can look good again. We need all the help we can get. Seems like an odd comment after a win over a top 25 SEC team. That should have been said a week or so ago and I would have wholeheartedly agreed. I'm hoping last night was a turning point for this team and not just a one game anamoly. The tournament isn't going to happen but we should be able to win another 4-5 games if we play like last night, I would think.

Don't troll so hard about having those guys locked up next time. I'd love for you to find where I ever did that. Nunn actually committed to us for a short time but I never expected to land Jabari despite the fact his dad starred at A&M in the 70's. I'm sure I was hopeful for a miracle but nothing more than that.

Checked and AJ Hilliard just transferred from TCU but is listed as a signee. That's where the extra one is coming from.

We have two open spots in this class so JJ could have signed. When he enrolls in January he will count back to this class anyway. The bottom line is that this is not the classic oversigning issue you've seen in the past. Every one of these players has a scholarship and as long as they make the grades as expected and don't sign an MLB contract (Kohl Stewart) they will all be on campus in the fall if not before. No one is getting trapdoored or screwed out of a place on the team.

I don't think your numbers are right. We had 8 early enrollees that counted towards 2012 since we signed a very small class last year. We signed 23 today and had room for 2 more. One is not going to qualify so he didn't sign (Derrick Griffin will go JUCO and hopefully end up at A&M eventually) and one decided to grayshirt since he won't be able to play in 2013 anyway (JJ Gustafson blew out his knee in his last HS game). 23+8+2=33 Apparently you're good at math but horrible at understanding what "signee" means. Isaac Savaiinaea. Manti Te'o's dad is his coach. A&M was after him hard but his position coach and main recruiter both took other jobs in the past month or so. Combine that with the fact that his parents were unable to accompany him on his official to College Station and that killed our chances. Should be a great player as long as he stays away from fake chicks on the Internet.

yeah, let's give national championships the very small amount of weight they deserve. It's harder to win the SEC than it is the National Championship. Just ask Alabama.
