    Reports that the Bears offered Urlacher a 1-year $2MM deal. That is an insult, if true. They obviously didn't want him back which is fine, but they should have just been up front with him about it.

    Why was this game played at Robert Morris? I know Rupp is hosting NCAA tournament games but those don't start until tomorrow. Surely they could have played there last night. And if not, they played an NIT game at Memorial Coliseum under Billy Gillispie because there was a HS championship game scheduled for Rupp. Why couldn't they have done that again?

    I have 4 in the Sweet Sixteen and 3 in the Elite Eight. Only 1 in the Final Four, though.

    Just for fun I used http://www.whatifsports.com to predict each tournament game and my Final Four ended up as Memphis, Gonzaga, Georgetown, and Colorado with Gonzaga beating Colorado in the championship game. Other great results were Iona over Ohio State, Pacific over Miami, Northwestern State over Florida, South Dakota State over Michigan, and Belmont over Harvard to go to the Sweet Sixteen.

    Andrew Shaw tweeted a picture from their hotel pool a bit earlier and I immediately recognized it. Would it be wrong to go hang out at the hotel bar in hopes I'd get to meet some Blackhawks?

    Friend just sent me an email saying Bowman resigned. For some reason I thought he meant Stan Bowman resigned from the Blackhawks and I had a bit of a panic attack. I checked the news and felt a lot better when I realized he meant that Zack Bowman re-signed with the Bears.

    Yeah, I got the email with a FedEx tracking #. Just tried to check out that My Cubs Tickets site and mine are not showing up in there either. I hope that gets corrected ASAP. I will say that the personalized W flag was kinda cool. Has anyone opened the pack of baseball cards? I assume they're the same ones that appear on the tickets themselves.

    I don't really like the shootouts but watching Kaner in those situations is a pure joy.

    video of the push WOW They just had it on ESPN and I think I saw this right - on that immediate foul on the inbounds after the first technical the refs gave Charlotte an act of shooting foul at midcourt as soon as they caught it, so they got 3 free throws. Sure the guy might have been pretending to shoot it, but nobody ever gets that call, ever. That's when the Richmond coach lost it and got kicked out. Justifiably so I'd say. That was some shady officiating. Yeah, that's the only part of the situation that I have a real issue with.
