  2. Roses is basically using up the majority of his goodwill that he gained over his first 4 years with the Bulls. He was accessible, said all the right things, won an MVP, led the team to the best record in the NBA 2 years in a row, etc. People are frustrated, but the media is going to treat him better than Cutler, who is known to be aloof. I gotta tell ya, I'm chuckling over everyone losing their minds on this. When he comes back, and is his usual self, especially if he has an improved jumper, none of that is going to matter. Everybody's gonna be all giddy that he's back, and move along happily watching him, buying his jerseys, and forgetting that this year even happened. I don't know about forget. Things will be more or less back to normal, but a lot of fans (especially the meatballs, and on this subject I admit to having some meatbally tendencies) aren't going to just fail to remember that he basically punted a season. Unless/until, of course, he leads a team to a championship, which as we've seen over and over again is the cure-all for any athlete, especially an NBA player. LOL @ DRose leading a team to a championship
  3. There's a really easy solution Derrick. What a bunch of horse [expletive]. God bless Joakim Noah. If only Rose had Jo's heart.
  4. That must be the longest iPhone ever.
  5. "Why bother playing?" - Bulls fans everywhere
  6. Supposedly McShay has him going #8 overall to Buffalo in his latest mock draft.
  7. Correction, 0-3-1 I think you mean 1-2-1 sox, cubs, bulls, and blackhawks. am i missing something? they all lost. A Sox loss is a win for Cub fans.
  8. But it's an empty threat and that only makes the person who makes it look bad. If he already discussed this privately and is now going public, that suggests that he may be losing the team. They're making themselves look bad. They don't need Sveum for that.
  9. I don't have a problem with what he said. I also don't think that he would seriously think about sending them down to Iowa even if that was his decision to make. He is trying to send a message to his young players and I am confident that he has already done so behind closed doors as well. The way this team is playing is an embarrassment to major league baseball. If Sveum decides to call them out in the media, then they need to deal with it.
  10. So I guess no DRose even for the playoffs, huh? I've tried to not judge him for taking so long to come back but this is getting ridiculous.
  11. Blackhawks-Penguins to play at Soldier Field next year. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/breaking/chi-blackhawks-outdoor-game-20130416,0,3581627.story
  12. COME BACK!!!!!!!
  13. It may be, but it's OUR dump and that [expletive] Berkman should stuff his fat face with Twinkies instead of talking [expletive] about Wrigley. It like family. I can talk [expletive] about my family, but no one outside of the family can or we're going to have issues.
  14. NOW WE CAN HAVE DOT RACES! HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORAY JUMBOTRON!
  15. I wish someone would ear hole Nuts&Gum.
  16. Somebody put one in this [expletive]'s ear hole please. http://www.dallasnews.com/sports/texas-rangers/headlines/20130415-grant-while-younger-rangers-wait-in-awe-of-trip-to-historic-wrigley-field-lance-berkman-doesn-t-get-the-hype.ece
  17. Is that a fact that he won't play for less than $6MM.
  18. Sorry. I should have said no GOOD reason.
  19. I definitely agree that the season ticket holder designation should be something you can indicate on StubHub to give season ticket holders an advantage to sell tickets they can't use. But whether I'm selling tickets to a stranger or giving them to a family member there is no reason why they shouldn't be able to get in early with my tickets.
  20. Well, if they just let anybody who purchased on the secondary market use the VIP entrance, it's not very VIP, not that it matters all that much to me (Hell, I usually don't arrive til right before first pitch anyway). If you directly are giving the tickets to somebody you know, though, I think it's fair to expect the benefits to hold up. You're missing the point. If a SEASON TICKET is transferred, no matter how or to whom, the rights should be transferred with that ticket. I doubt most people care about getting in early anyway. It's more for the bleacher ticket holders.
  21. Either sold on Stub Hub or just transferred to someone you know. What's the difference? One of the (only) benefits of season tickets is the ability to get in early, which is huge for the bleachers. Why does it matter who is using the tickets especially when they don't even check who is using them if they have the hard tickets in hand? It just doesn't make any sense.
