    Is this a Lost reference? I’ve never watched it and now never will because the finale is apparently ass x1000 and who wants to watch a show that ends like that Rocky IV. How dare you not know this. Eh. I’m sure i watched it but was probably back in my college years. As much as I stay on top of a lot of the new “must see” TV shows I’m equally bad on not seeing some of the classic movies. Therefore I never give anyone heat for not watching GoT or Breaking Bad - I get it, there’s only so much time we have at disposal.

    Please always stay on brand. I need consistency in my life. He’s been doing this for a decade. You have nothing to worry about. I know. And I have a tiny bit of “schwarber fan” inside me but i always try to stay optimistic and so I’m baited into replying. Rinse. Repeat. Everything about NSBB is consistent for the most part.

    Please always stay on brand. I need consistency in my life. I mean this hasn’t been proven either way yet, but sure thing. No it hasn’t. But what good does it do to just assume the bullpen will be bad. They haven’t appeared yet. There have been many nights they were solid if not good/great. It just seems overly pessimistic is all for a game in the third inning down three (not is now tied in the top of 4)

    Lol i just got done thinking at the end of the Phillie’s half we would score 3 runs off this guy. I didn’t, however, think it would take 3 batters.

    Big picture this is most likely a blip, but we aren't better enough than Milwaukee to let games like this get away too often, and we've done it several times already. Fair. But I recall one (and I’m sure more) game(s) against St Louis that the Cubs probably had no business ever winning. It’s baseball. It’s why there are 162 games At this point it sounds like a lecture and I never want to be that guy so i will just STFU because nobody likes that guy

    I agree with the responses to this. I just think back to how miserable i felt when they were 1 and effing 6 to start the year. They aren’t even playing “bad” really other than sucking in big spots. And the pen is subpar which we know as fact. Just trying to be a voice of reason I guess. Trust me I get as pissed as anyone when they horsefeathers up.

    I’m as disappointed as anyone (this is a bummer on my birthday) but dear god there’s no reason to be THIS negative. I bet they improve the pen someway, somehow. They will again hit with RISP. They won’t give up 75 mph hits all year. Javy is out of the lineup. Let’s not lose our damn minds.

    He's good as a post-game commentary talking head, IMO; the mistake was putting him in the booth during the damn games. Exactly. He’s great talking about horsefeathers that has already happened. He sucks at focusing on the damn game and gets sidetracked and then (shockingly) finds a way to make it about him.

    I’m guessing unless something has changed with MLB blackout rules (I’m sure it hasn’t) I’ll be blacked out of this Washington DC game bc i live in NC and that makes perfect sense. Does anyone have some bootleg stream or anything I could watch on the computer by chance?
