    Sports aren't that complicated. Why are there people who mess it up so easily? I'm all for super complicating baseball At least then we'll know if someone is good or bad. So we stop making fun of Adam Dunn and just make fun of Juan Pierre all the time. But really recognizing that Dunn is good and Pierre is bad isn't that hard. ESPN seems to think understanding sports is hard when it really isn't. But Pierre is one of those guys that wears those awesome flat bill caps!

    :?: I'm not up on the farm system this year.... Cedeno? i was thinking he was referring to Pie, but it could be either Either, I'm assuming as of tomorrow we will probably see a lot less of Pie and Cedeno isn't getting half as many AB's as he should.

    Hmmm...Soto's numbers at AAA carried over to the majors. I wish the cubs had someone else on their roster that put up those kind of numbers at AAA from a traditionally weak position.

    Contrary to popular belief, most GMs are not complete morons. You can't just "convince" them that someone is a great player if they are not. Pie has the potential to be a very good CF and Murton has the potential, at best, to be a slightly better than average corner OF. I will grant you that there have been some bonehead moves by GMs in the past history, but you can't really just count on convincing another GM most of the time. I cross my fingers that you are somehow right, but I have a feeling if Pie is excluded, it will be something like: Marmol, Cedeno, Gallagher, etc. to get it done.
