I really don't think it's worth worrying about. The Cubs lead MLB in runs in September (at least up until a few days ago - haven't checked since). They'll either have a good or bad day in the WC game. It's that simple. After that anything is possible. I hear ya. Not super concerned, was mostly checking to see if my observations were correct and don't feel like looking up last 7/last 14 splits haha. yeah i was too lazy too which is why i gave the blanket "not worth worrying about" answer (but I do believe that). Off the top of my head and totally spitballing, I'd say Schwarber, Soler, Rizzo (?) probably haven't been that cold. Perhaps some others, too. Honestly they've run into some really good pitching. But, that isn't really much of an excuse going into the playoffs. Way late here, but how does a ML ump blow that obvious call.
