I've heard some good things about the six freshman coming in. It'll be interesting to see if they can start rebuilding the program since theyll all be together for so long. I am not sure how good the South will be either. Texas will still be solid, but not near as good as last season. Texas, OU, and Baylor will all be pretty good, IMO. OU has been getting a lot of top-10 love this preseason. Willie Warren, Blake Griffin and Tony Crocker is a pretty good threesome, along with that UCLA bigman transfer whose name I can never remember (ryan wright?). The timing is right for us to make a deep run in the big 12. Yeah, I'd be pretty surprised if you guys didn't win it this year. The only reason you might not is you guys have the significantly tougher South schedule. If Self gets the baby Jayhawks in order and can rack up wins vs the North, we have an outside chance. I'm excited either way because for the first time since the Hollis Price years, OU fans are discussing basketball and football.
