  1. is this the new britney single
  2. I want to think that the Beast will be as good as he looked in college, I keep having Derrick Coleman nightmares. A good player, but not one that ever did what he should have. FYI, Derrick Coleman's first 5 years. 90-91: 18.4 PPG, 10.3 RPG 91-92: 19.8 / 9.5 92-93: 20.7 / 11.2 93-94: 20.2 / 11.3 94-95: 20.5 / 10.6 The Nets traded him after 95. He hurt his knee and got fat....and that was it. Any team should kill for numbers like that out of Beasley in his first 5 years. Yeah, I got jumped on for a Coleman comparison earlier, but Beasley would probably be lucky to be as good as Coleman was before he started smoking pot or whatever
  3. Burres isn't particularly wild, but he does give up a lot of hits (96 in 80.2 innings, .298 BAA) and he doesnt strike anyone out. He's been much better on the road (2-3, 3.86) than at home (4-2, 6.75) because he's given up 11 homeruns at home and only one on the road. We've got sort of a lefty heavy lineup tonight, but looking at his three-year splits (just 129 innings) lefties (.791 OPS) hit him as well as righties (.798). Also, lefties have dominated him this year (.880).
  4. what did he say about Morrison and Redick when they were drafted? Redick needs to get the hell out of Orlando. He has no future on that team. I think he could become a decent role player, but it has to be the right situation. If he can't play as a spot up shooter on a team with the best low post player in basketball, where would he succeed? the problem is that they already have two perimeter players whose job it is to score in Turkoglu and Lewis. I get that, but shooting is maybe the toughest thing to find in the league. There is no question he could do that. SO why can't he even get on the court? Especially on a team that really doesn't have a two guard. The two you mentioned are still post players. I really think that Reddick is just this generation's Alford. There's a difference between being able to shoot and being able to create a shot in the nba. I have no doubt that he can sit outside the 3-point line and drain jumpers all night long, but i dont think he's quick, agile or strong enough to get his shot off in the league.
  5. oh wow, patterson probably should have let theriot get that one
  6. I TAKE IT BACK THEY ALL SUCK BLOW IT UP IM GONNA QUIT MY JOB
  7. Wow, so Marhsall, who has struck out six and allowed four hits in four innings and allowed 2 runs (should have been 1 had Fuku played it correctly) is no good, Derrek Lee and his .900 OPS (or whatever it is) over the past few weeks sucks and the Cardinals, who are beating 800-year old Kenny Rogers are legit? I'm just trying to catch up real quick.
  8. Good to see Marhsall back up, let's boost that trade value, buddy.
  9. I agree with this. This is how I'm leaning. I've just gotten lucky the last two years with late round QB picks that Manning has just barely outplayed.
  10. If I remember right, I lost in the finals by one point, so obviously, this is going to be my year.
  11. we should form epatt and murton into one player. He'd be a black guy with red hair and we could call him Eric Murtonson and he would be fiery if you know what i mean (im talking about downstairs)
  12. At this point, I'd like the Sonics to get Bayless or Westbrook. I like Mayo more than each, but I don't think there's enough shots for him and Durant.
  13. terry pendleton
  14. Ok, I have been going back and forth on this decision since the season ended. I can keep three of these four. Steven Jackson Marion Barber Ryan Grant Peyton Manning We use 2 RBs and a flex spot, meaning I could basically have my entire running back corps finished before we even draft, but because my draft position will be so low this year, I won't be able to get an elite QB to replace Manning.
  15. I like the idea of sending him back out. Lou looked pumped when he told him to grab a bat.
  16. Dempster's success this year is second only to Kerry Wood's in my personal "happy for that guy" files
  17. vazquez is all over the lefthand side of the plate, we need to pounce on him early
  18. thank god, i bet 20 cents on the sawks on centsports
  19. WEKSE ITZ A FREE TACO SALAD
  20. Could he have been adopted by an uncle or something? I don't know much about Ruth's history. That looks like Babe Ruth in a costume
  21. they should bring hendry back into the booth and hug him for the edmonds signing
