  5. Feller has always been known as a bit of a douchebag. Did have a cool windup though!! http://img169.imageshack.us/img169/7200/fellergifjb3.gif How fast did he throw? I heard stories that he got it up in the mid 100s. i think he topped out at around 140
  6. Please show the old home run derby show. I used to have stacks of vhs tapes of recordings of that show
  7. I think you're missing the entire point. It's annoying how some people are downplaying what Hamilton went through because it was "self-inflicted" or because his family life was stable beforehand. Actually, it's not just annoying, it's flat our wrong. Yeah, he did it to himself, but that doesn't make addiction something he could just shake off. It's a disease. "Nobody says, "[expletive] Mitch, you have lupus!" He wants to use his story to influence other people that have gotten hooked on drugs or alcohol. He's proven that, no matter how low you get, you can shake it off and get back to the top. Have you honestly heard anyone present the story in a way that says "don't worry guys, you can take drugs and it'll all still be ok?" You'd have to be a complete moron to take that out of this story. Like I said earlier, I can understand being sick of the story, but a lot of these complains are idiotic. Can you imagine treating a recovering addict like this? "Yeah, that's great that you saved your life, Big deal, it was all your fault anyway." That's awful.
  8. I read somewhere that the Cubs coaching is saying that he is hidding the ball better...whatever that means. I guess if you can't see it, you can't hit. Maybe it means he was tipping his pitches before and that's been corrected now. Sounds more like a motion-thing to me. Like the batter can't see the ball until later in his motion. Seems like that could make a pretty decent difference.
  9. I always tried to emulate rick sutcliffe when i was an 8 year old on the mound. there was someone pitching in a game against the cubs not too long ago that I remember being really annoyed with, but i cant recall who it was
  10. someone has to hide a digi and get this on youtube
  11. there's no way that corey hart's wife didn't drink while pregnant anyway, so Ryleigh probably has a hell of a tolerance already.
  12. i heard we planned on keeping him but he immediately slept with cindy sandberg so we bounced him to Cincinnati

  16. i had to jinx him or the round would have never ended
  17. He's going to hit 30 f*cking home runs in one round
