Actually, I think that scenario could work in Texas' favor. It would eliminate any possibility of Oklahoma being ranked higher than Texas, and therefore might increase Texas' chances of playing in the national championship game against the Alabama-Florida winner. what he's saying is that since it's assumed that an OU win will put them ahead of texas and into the big 12 championship, texas and texas fans are saying that they should finish ahead of ou because they beat teh sooners head-to-head. if osu wins, then it will be texas tech going to the big 12 championship, and texas fans will have their own argument used against them.

Dusty reads NSBB? Dusty has friends/acquaintances that check out these sites and occasionally relay info when it is that interesting. This is some pretty juicy stuff. my cousin is married to a certain reds player ... i don't want to name names but he's a dominican (i think) pitcher and he erroneously received ROY votes this year. anyway, he hates dusty baker and threatened to kill him. told me right to my face that he was going to stab dusty in the heart when spring training started. -
I believe one of the Bookout teams started in the top-10 but promptly dropped out. ahh, that's right. bookout-gray started in the top 10 and then failed miserably the rest of the year OU definitely got the benefit of the doubt with the FTs, but they also live to pound the ball inside, while purdue just shoots and shoots and shoots. when 80 percent of your points are from outside the paint, you aren't going to shoot many FTs. When 80 percent of your points are inside the paint, you're going to shoot a lot of free throws.

goofy officiating at the end sure didn't hurt should be looking at a top 10 ranking when the polls come out. I don't think we've been that high since the hollis price days.

pretty impressed with both teams so far purdue hit everything they took there for about 7 minutes and really did a good job of taking blake out of the game and ou, i really didnt think we would hang with a good team without blake taking over offensively, but here we are, down 2 and blake only has 14 points. warren and taylor griffin have been big. still wish AJ would never shoot a jumper and i wish we could hit a FT

good job, me. oklahoma forgot how to make the ball go in the basket. it doesnt help that blake griffin hasn't seen the ball since he came back out on the court

lol wat i was kind of 3/4ths paying attention, but they were asked what teams they like in the big 12. jay williams said texas and hubert davis said missouri. i thought maybe it was a joke, but they had a video package all set up and he actually said all of the players' names, so i don't know what to think
