  1. You think Damien Wilkins is a who? You may have heard of his dad, Dominique AKA The human highlight reel. Damien is Dom's nephew, btw. Gerald Wilkins is Damien's father. try again http://www.nba.com/playerfile/damien_wilkins/bio.html Hahha, I'm an idiot, thought he said that Gerald Wilkins was Dominique's father, which would have been very interesting.

  3. When do you go back to the Thunder avatar? excellent question, i'll have to get on that, though im thinking they deserve a signature this year
  4. Man, that game was a blast. I know the Kings are miserable, but Westbrook went beast mode tonight. 13 assists, 2 turnovers and at least 5 more assists that were blown by Krstic and Thomas. Durant's shot was off and he went for a double-double. Just good stuff all around, considering I didn't see a regular season win in person last year
  5. I'm currently in my hotel room, about 20 feet from the Ford Center and I'm ready to watch the Thunder beat the hell out of the Kings (or lose in a close one)
  6. you should be able to draft high schoolers, pay for their college and then have their rights when they graduate. like nba teams stashing players in europe or something.
  7. god dammit andy, you sound like a girl when you call players by their first name. that's something omc would do
  8. MILES AUSTIN
  9. You might just, I mean. I'm not telling you how to handle your business. But it might be best to just take this one and move on from this thread. I'm not trying to be mean. i don't belong to any bengals forums, so this will have to do. i think i'm being overall polite. i'm not. this is hilarious to watch. How in the world have i become a cedric benson fan? I hope he scores 5 times.
  10. Just so we're straight is "dem" making fun of a) black people b) southern people c) hillbilly's d) people who just don't talk very well? To me it was just like using "eh" or "up dere" if I were making fun of Canadians or Minnesotans. I see where you're coming from, you're just overthinking things. It was a drunken post at like 2:30 in the morning after a big win and a stupid back and forth with southern white guys. It would be extremely random and out of context to just start making fun of black dialect for no reason. There are walk-on white WR's but they don't play. #22 and #86 are the only white WR's that play. And our 2nd and 3rd TE's are white. well, it's no shock omc thought it was racist, he's probably said it before
  11. gaaaaahhhhh, peterson, barber, maroney or mendenhall for one spot? How did I end up this loaded at RB?
  12. no one on the east coast stays up to watch their games, and they dont have fans, so everyone just takes pete carrol's word for it
  13. how isn't it a great win? michigan state is no, say, mississippi state. mississippi st plays in the SEC, which is like the AA of the NFL so...
  14. this is the third time ive heard about griese's comment.... what was it? it couldnt have been too bad.
  15. agreed 100 percent. alabama is lucky they have a terrible schedule, or they'd be a 3 or 4 loss team Definitely. Alabama's offense is so horrible outside of the running game. Not horrible, but inconsistant. Alabama faced the SEC 3-4-5 in total defenses in the past three weeks, not a receipe for success, mind you. I am not making excuses for McElroy cause he hasn't played a well good or even well-rounded game since Arkansas, but Alabama stalling on offense is directed to two people: Jim McElwain and Greg McElroy. Otherwise, this break is what Bama needed and Bama will be back to breaking heads in two weeks. As for Bama having a terrible schedule.....WRONG. If Bama's schedule is terribe then what makes Florida? Bama's schedule is no worse then Texas. Alabama's schedule is just fine, thank you. please, bama is an average team at best, that plays is a weak conference and has an inadequate offense
  16. i know, right? they just showed a stat that said they have 1 td and 3 or 4 fg in their last 7 red zone trips. HOW CAN THEY BE STOPPED.
  17. agreed 100 percent. alabama is lucky they have a terrible schedule, or they'd be a 3 or 4 loss team
  18. in your face, snood
  19. pride cometh before the fall
  20. They'll keep him if he's the starter, but the likelihood of them trusting him as the starter with no playing time the past two years is slim. what would he have to do to justify dropping $14 million on him next year? In my mind, it's just not feasible. I mean, he would have to just be phenomenal for the remainder of the season to even begin to erase the doubts that have popped up.
  21. regardless of what vince young does or doesn't do the rest of the season, he will not be a titan next year. Isn't his cap number like $14 million? part of me thinks tennessee recognizes this is a lost year no matter what happens at QB, and they're afraid that they play vince, he does ok and then everyone gets pissed at them when they cut him in the offseason.
  22. i hate clausen, but im not going to hate on him, per se he's arrogant, so i hate him. but philip rivers is arrogant and i love him. the problem normal people like myself have with him is that he plays at notre dame, he's white, has a stupid haircut and is ugly. im not sure which of those is the biggest factor, but when everyone is seemingly in love with ugly, white jake locker, it makes you think that the notre dame thing plays a big part in it. but really, white people are just ugly and outside of some baseball players, most of them look completely ridiculous in athletic clothing. It's the reeason dirk nowitzki doesn't get the love that he should, because he looks like a moron in shorts and a tank top. lebron looks like a sleek, muscular race horse and nowitzki looks like you're father in law taking 30-foot 3-pointers. I'm rambling here, but the point is that white people should not be allowed to play sports in a public setting, because they look ridiculous.
  23. you can't compare a white guy and a black guy, dummy. jake locker is like ryan leaf, if you replace the fact that leaf is out of the league because he's dumb with the fact that locker will be out of the league because he's mobile and he'll get injured in the NFL
  24. are we really going to do this robbie hummel [expletive] again? he's a gimp
  25. Agreed. By the way not that it means a lot right now but when I was working out over lunch I saw McShay and Kiper doing their back and forth on Bradford's prospects. Mel says top 5 pick and #1 QB, McShay says top 10 overall. I realize these guys have to talk like this, but it's basically pointless to say something like "well he's still the No. 1 QB" at this stage. That would be the truth whether or not Bradford had hurt himself this year. Way too much time between now and April. Bradford doesn't have Stafford's arm, but everyone knew that last year and they still liked him, because he's smart and he's incredibly accurate. Not to knock McCoy, but just as a comparison, Bradford actually throws the ball downfield, though last year he did rely on bubble screens a lot. I wouldn't be surprised if he came back. From what I''ve heard, the surgery puts him at a late march-early april comeback time (more likely March) which just doesn't leave him a lot of room to prove himself. Not that Crabtree needed it a year ago. Anyway, Bradford has always seemed like a guy with an outside shot of graduating, and since the No. 1 concern on him was "will he withstand NFL hits," and the answer so far is no, he might take the risk and stay another year. Unless he really hates this OL (as much as i do) and bolts. I dont know. I think Clausen is a super pro-prospect, I think Mallett could be Joe Flacco and I think Jake Locker might be.... a more athletic Roethlisberger? I'm struggling with a comparison.
