  1. you compared notre dame to georgia, who is about 7th in the SEC pecking order and has been mediocre since herschel walker stopped doing hgh. if this is considering refuting the point, you may need to try harder.
  2. Georgia: 1 Penn State: 1 Alabama: 1 Michigan: 1 Tennessee: 1 Texas: 1 Teams that haven't been to a BCS game since at least 2006 (last time ND went): Florida State Michigan Tennessee Georgia Miami Pittsburgh Lol, Pittsburgh? Georgia? These are some real heavy hitters. Comparing ND to Michigan is pretty funny, considering how hard Michigan fell off the map.
  3. There are 6 Ws in Notre Dame. (Get it)
  4. You're wrong. I'm not debating it. they can't get get a good coach, and they either waste good recruits' development on bad coaches or just flat out can't recruit anyway. They haven't been good in any current teenager's lifetime and won't for the foreseeable future. The girls on campus are all ugly, the fans are terrible and the academics are harder 99% of the competition. There's literally no reason for anyone to go to notre dame. you'll probably end up with some third-tier coach, anyway. Just get used to a life of arguing over whether or not you deserved the Insight Bowl or the Humanitarian.com bowl (see: missouri). Four years ago they were an illegal push from the national title game, with a team that really shouldn't have even been that good. Again, you're wrong. I'm simply not going to debate it. ETA: Look, I'm not saying that ND's ever going to be a consistent title contender again. Hardly any team can be or has been a title contender for more than two straight years these days, so that's probably out of the question. But there's little reason that Notre Dame can't be at least like an Oklahoma or a Florida, consistently in the BCS conversation with occasional runs to the title. Charlie Weis proved you can get very talented kids to play for Notre Dame, so it comes down to the next coach to keep that up. Charlie Weiss got talented kids to come to Notre Dame because he rode Willingham's recruits into the BCS game and promised them all he could get them into the NFL. Since then, Notre Dame has sucked, Brady Quinn has failed and Claussen and Tate and a couple of 6 or 7-win seasons is all he has to show for it. The next ND coach is going to be someone that 90 percent of HS football players in america couldn't pick out of a lineup of 2. What's best case? Brian Kelley? Great, someone no one recognizes who couldn't coach a defense on Madden 10. At least he has a track record of winning in a BCS conference. If he doesn't come it's just going to be some scrub that will win 6 games and be a placeholder until ND thinks it has hit on the next big thing, and then that will fail and so on and so on. Look at the situation you're in. The last 2 decades of failure will keep the recruits away, and the unrealistic expectations of the university and fan base will keep any decent coach from wanting to come, too. Look at OU's situation, they lucked into Bob Stoops because they said "f it" and started from scratch. You think ND will ever allow that? Not a chance in hell. Search your heart, you know this to be true.

  6. Notre Dame will never be good again. It's time to let that dream go, guys.
  7. im interested in this epic burger Actually, it's really good. There's this burger joint next door to my dorm called "epic burger" that boasts fresh, all natural, no-preservative-added burgers. They're tasty as hell; but also pretty expensive. this is good and all, but the question is: how is your fantasy team doing
  8. the concept of re-doing a pre-nup is funny to me
  9. 16 tackles is not out of the ordinary, you gumps
  10. Of course you chuckle. Alabama won't have a chance to be embarrassed again this year. I was not embarrassed about losing to an eventual undefeated team in utah. Upset? Yes, but Utah was a damn good team. In fact Oklahoma losing to Boise State was more embarrassing then Bama losing to Utah. And if you think Bama is "saved" from being embarrassed again, then you're wrong. I would love the opportunity to play the winner of TCU/Boise State, nad put this issue to bed. yeah right, you were ashamed. you talked a ton of [expletive] leading up to the game and then disappeared as soon as it was over.
  11. lol, redflash is just glad bama ducked an opponent that's clearly better than them
  12. [expletive], stanford will destroy us
  13. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ball_dont_lie/post/Jack-ties-shoelace-during-live-play-Bulls-watch?urn=nba,206950
  14. you mean RED RIVER RIVALRY* *shootout implies violence, which is bad. now go hurt each other on the football field and shorten your lifespan, all you 18 year olds. and make us all rich, muahahahahahaahah
  15. i just wanted the OU fan trifecta of usc, florida and texas losing in the same day. After this miserable season, i think i deserve it. also, if i had seen tebow and mccoy both cry tonight, i would have [expletive] in my pants there's a decent chance meph would have offed himself. that would have been the imb quadfecta
  16. i just wanted the OU fan trifecta of usc, florida and texas losing in the same day. After this miserable season, i think i deserve it. also, if i had seen tebow and mccoy both cry tonight, i would have coach urban meyer'd in my pants
  17. didn't mccoy say in the postgame that he looked up and saw that there was 15 seconds on the clock? I think it has to start with him, though Brown deserves some for not calling a frigging time out. if mccoy takes one more step or throws the ball 5 yards further downfield, i might have passed out from laughter
  18. holy [expletive] i was laughing so hard that girl never even hit the dr pepper thing
  19. Nebraska is going to beat Texas, the computers will put Florida back in the title game, tebow will figuratively rise from the grave and win, therefor completing his story as jesus christ2.0
  20. i know it's pathetic of me to enjoy all of this, but i just can't help it. it's not even really tebow's fault, but i don't care.
  21. YES http://twitpic.com/sbnjk
  22. Most years they wouldn't, but there's a dearth of viable candidates this year. There won't be an eligible at-large team from the Pac-10, ACC, Big East or Big 12 unless Texas and/or Georgia Tech loses tonight. The Big Ten candidates' resumes aren't any better than Florida's and both of them have 2 losses. I think a team that was #1 the entire regular season and lost to the #2 team in the final game would get an at large bid almost every season. deserve
  23. TEBOW TEARS quick, bottle that [expletive], we have cancer to cure!
  24. ok, now it's time for someone to make a case for why florida deserves a BCS at large. They've pancaked a bunch of mediocre SEC teams and got stroked by the one good team they did play. PASS.
  25. this alabama gameplan is very tebow-inspired. a lot of these runs, passes and catches look like something tebow would have done. It's safe to say that this bama win would not be possible had tebow not paved the way.
