  1. i tried to start a "prett-ty good, prett-ty good" chant when russell westbrook was on the line once but it didn't take
  2. i didnt until this year. maybe it's an effect of paul being injured and kind of out of sight out of mind, but i think deron might be top 5 in the nba. i'd like to take this opportunity to formally apologize to illiniguy for all my chris paul arguments in the past. you win.
  3. redflush doesn't actually think angelo was better than krause. he just took a contrary position and is flailing wildly now that he realizes he has to back it up. if he was more intelligent i'd laugh it off as funny trolling, but, well ...
  4. If you go back and reread what I said, and you will see I didn't give a candidate as to who is better. I take offense to calling Krause the best GM, when in reality he was just as terrible as other GMs in this town. But if push come to shove, then I would say Jerry Angelo has been as good if not better GM in Chicago (despite obvious flaws in his M.O.) then Krause. oh so you're really just talking for the sake of it, should have known
  5. bzzzzt try again. please list who was a better chicago gm than jerry krause. seriously, try.
  6. redflush's brain: "malfunction, malfunction"
  7. Ehhhh....I wouldn't say that....He was the most successful, but the best..........I don't know about that. Your candidate for better would be whom? I don't have one...........but to call Krause the best GM Chicago team has ever had, is like saying Aaron Miles is the greatest ballplayer named Miles. Saying it doesn't make it true. I will call Krause the most successful GM, but he was a product of how good those Bulls teams were. ............. stop talking
  8. You get a chance to finish Floyd like once every 15 fights. Moseley rocked him twice and then laid back. They should have just called the fight after that.
  9. who is worse, him or mark jackson?
  10. Bob Brenley: We've already seen the Cubs break up more double-plays than all of last season and I think this is directly attributable to Marlon Byrd's influence on this team! Maybe just stop talking for a while, Robert.
  11. it would be very Phil-like to jump ship just as his current team is about to age past its championship window.
  12. i dont work in sports anymore, but i desperately want to use GASOL SHE WROTE as a headline.
  13. worst of both worlds thunder season over and i lose a -1.5 bet on LA
  14. this run is just going to make it that much more heart breaking when we blow it on a derek fisher buzzer-beater
  15. ironically that stupid "get them up here as soon as you can" attitude is a major reason why we haven't won a world series in a trillion years.
  16. there is absolutely no reason to debate this with someone that thinks a 20-year old can't learn anything else in the minors. that's so lolworthy i can barely stand it.
  17. He's not good thing you traded him for tractor traylor
  18. hahahaha
  19. the perfect coach for a lebron+wade duo is don nelson, because you could just pair them up and then nelson could get double-doubles from a host of D-leaguers.
  20. Are Wade and Rose too similar? I'm not saying that the fit wouldn't work, but Bosh+Rose seems like an unstoppable duo.
  21. sulley's gimmick has overcome him and he has turned into erik, truly a sad day for us all
  22. Can you name ant great BASKETBALL players that aren't douchebags? Tim Duncan and Deron Williams Much better choices (and more recent). kevin durant shoots like 340 free throws a game and he basically hugs his mom and says a prayer before each one
  23. i love talking about varajeao because he's such a real world troll. People looooove to watch blocked shots, which account for such a small part of post defense.
  24. wait... what? he was interviewed after their game and he was like "well when we see the cavs in the next round..." and then he realized the series wasn't over, so he said "well, whoever wins that series ..." and then gave a real derisive laugh and went on talking.
