  1. If you're picking in the back end of the first round, you might as well take some projectible euro and just roll the dice
  2. until his arm wears out from all the breaking pitches oh crap
  3. http://eye-on-basketball.blogs.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/entry/22748484/29612173 Scottie Pippen: "Michael Jordan is probably the greatest scorer to ever play in the game, but I may go as far to say LeBron James is probably the greatest player to ever play the game."
  4. I honestly hate both teams with both my heart. I cannot root for Dirk and Barrea to win a title, but how am I supposed to feel good about Wade and Bosh getting rings? WHAT DO I DO The Gold Cup starts in like two weeks. Join us in the soccer thread. invitation: ACCEPTED.
  5. Gonna be a tough hurdle to get over though. The Heat are scary and should get better when they can add mid level guys. The Heat are certainly scary going forward. Are they as scary as an improved, more poised Rose with a better supporting cast? I don't know. Unlike you guys I'm not as sold on Rose improving a lot going forward. I just don't see a lot of room to get better. Jason Kidd is a 40% 3-point shooter. Anything can happen.

  7. Holy [expletive], I'm sorry, but that was basically step-by-step the stupid [expletive] that we do at the end of every game.
  8. Thats so thunderesque it hurts to read I was wrong; idiotic pass Possibly even more Thunderesque. Missed clutch free throw? Thunderesque!!!! WHY DO I HAVE TO WATCH THIS AGAIN. You'll get to watch: dribbledribbledribble, bad 3, tip, tip, over. good work

  11. that tmobile rapper looks so constipated while "rapping"
  12. The way all of the teams are set up now, what would be your nightmare NBA Finals scenario in terms of players you hate? Seeing as you love Chris Paul so much, I know New Orleans has to be in contention. Honestly, Dallas - Miami might be it. I hate Chris Paul, but only when he plays us. He can flop and whine against other teams all he wants. I guess I still have some leftover love for him from the OKC days. The only team approaching Dallas-Miami levels of hate for me is San Antonio, and most of that is Ginobili-related. I guess Utah is still on my hate list, too, but less so now that they're no longer relevant.
  13. By winning tonight, Miami is going home with a hell of a lot of pressure on its shoulders. If you hold on tonight, it's what, 40 percent chance you win in Miami and push it to Game 7 at home?
  14. Man, I spent all day thinking I was going to root for Miami to beat Dallas. But Wade and Bosh are so [expletive] offensive to me, I just can't do it.
  15. I'm still rooting for Bradley, I guess. Just because it would be cool. His curve is terrifying in person.
  16. Michael Bourn: 2009: 4.9 WAR 2010: 4.8 WAR Marlon Byrd: 2009: 1.6 WAR 2010: 4.3 WAR That's interesting, because I'm not a Byrd fan, but if you had asked me who i'd rather have, I would have picked Byrd without even thinking.
  17. That would have more to do with the frequency with which he hits at Citi Field, though, rather than be indicative of a downward trend in 3B offense. well, he has a .908 OPS at citi field this year. ops+ doesn't care what his splits are I know. I'm saying his home field is not holding his OPS down.
  18. this gm stuff is easy
  19. Should be easy to do with all our expiring contracts
  20. we should trade for the no. 1 pick

  22. lol at maynor waving off everyone oh well
  23. david wright is OPSing .741 and it's still an ops+ of 108
