why do you have to measure by 48 games? if you look at his entire season this year in AAA he is on a pace to K less than last year in AAA. limiting a number of games to cement your point is understandable but I don't see how you can deny the fact that at his current pace, with the same amount of AB's as last year in AAA that he would in fact K less. What adjustments has he made? He got called up last year because he was playing very well in AAA (his first 56 games last year he struck out 80 times in 207 at bats.) He's playing at a worse pace now than he was last year when he got called up, and he was terrible. I know that's scouting the stat line, and he has apparently made some swing adjustments, but they aren't showing up in the field.

in 48 AAA games this year he struck out 57 times and walked 14 times in 191 AB in his final 48 AAA games last year he struck out 50 times and walked 19 times in 181 AB

they're not? how are they different at all? keep in mind his season numbers in AAA from 2014 are held down by his horrific start. He's putting up the same numbers right now that he was putting up last year right before he got called up.
