    White Sox down 3 going into the 9th and Rodney walks the first 3 guys. Lyon in trying to clean up the mess Ks Dye, but walks Thome. Sox down 2 with 1 out bags loaded. Could be an overall bad night for Detroit sports.

    What the heck are we going to do with him? The guy just keeps hitting. We can't find room for Hoff to bat enough, let alone Fox. Not a bad problem, but a bit frustrating, especially since our corner OF spots are locked down for the next 2 years. Hopefully when everyone comes back, Scales is sent down and I guess Blanco down as well. Freel will be DFAd, no? That would leave 13 position players as follows: Soto, Hill, Ramirez, Theriot, Fontenot, Lee, Miles, Soriano, Johnson, Fukudome, Bradley, Fox, Hoffpauir Although I'm sure we'll never be 100% healthy, so that will mix and match.

    Maybe its because I don't watch any other teams consistently, but it seems the Cubs have an extremely high amount of "streaky" hitters this year: Soriano, Lee, Fontenot, Bradley

    I don't have the exact stats, but since last April, Lilly has been rather amazing. He seems like he's really been mixing up his pitches and just not walking people. Nice job Theodore!

    Blanco has been surprisingly competent with the bat lately. Reason #559 why the Miles signing was completely unnecessary. Nice job Andres!

    Why are you so angry? Because my favorite team has $30 million dollars committed to an average fielding corner outfielder who has either been hurt or bad for 99% of the season this year. Oh, and he has a terrible temperment. And we gave up super-utility man DeRosa and his likely Type A free agent status so we could fit his contract on the payroll.
