Fukudome is like the 3rd most hated Cub among the meathead/sports radio guys in the city. I think only Soriano and Ramirez get more flack. He also has an unwarranted reputation for sucking after May, although I believe his best month last year was August, and this year he has been absolutely torrid since the all star break. I really hope we don't do anything stupid with this guy, because he might just be our 2nd or 3rd most valuable hitter next year.

The best part about that was reading the comments section. I learned that Marlon Byrd is by far our best player solely because of the effort he gives, I learned that Andres Blanco should be our starting 2nd baseman, and that Adam Dunn will cost the Cubs more runs at 1st BASE! than he will drive in with his bat. Fascinating stuff there.

Oh my God, this is the dumbest of the dumb. Moron Kaplan was saying on Monday that the Cubs should move Z to the bullpen, but that Z would never agree to it. i thought to myself "thank god the people running this team are smarter than Dave Kaplan". Well, [expletive] me. Unbelieveable. I hate my life.

Anyone that has watched 'Nova play lately should not be surprised by anything that happens today. They've been subpar for the last month.

Notre Dame's offense is basically hold the ball for 30+ seconds and then chuck a three pointer. Up 6 at the half but ODU has played absolutely horrific, especially shooting the ball. Harangody is a complete non-factor, I actually think ND is better with him on the bench, so I expect the Monarchs to make a run in the 2nd half.

I like Montana over New Mexico. It wouldn't be the first time a Steve Alford coached team lost as a 3 seed in the 1st round (Sorry to all the Iowa fans) I also have UTEP, San Diego St., and Minnesota in the Sweet 16, as well as Gonzaga taking out Syracuse. My Final Four has no 1 seeds, and 3 #2 seeds, along with Texas A&M. I stayed off the Cornell bandwagon and was about an inch away from taking Wofford. Oh, and Richmond beats Villanova.

Don't need to. I already saw his throw last year to "beat" Atlanta. Yeah cause only bad QB's can have a bad throw. I was referring to his TD throw that gave us the lead with 11 seconds left. I've always been a supporter of Kyle's for the most part. My bad then. I just assumed it was another Bears fan post ragging on him simply because he used to be a Bear and if he does well it makes the Cutler deal look bad so they have an delusional hatred for Orton ... etc. Kyle Orton could go 16-0 and win the damn NFL MVP and I would still love the Cutler trade. You know why? because Orton wouldn't be doing this with the Bears. He's in a system that suits him perfectly with winning parts around him. The Bears have a winning record because of Cutler, even with a horrid Offensive line, and a mediocre defense. Would they have a winning record with Orton? I'm pretty sure they wouldn't.

The Cutler-Orton stuff is really comical, and I knew it would come up if Orton started out well. I know Orton has been good so far, but it's more a product of the offensive system he's in. He isn't asked to throw it downfield more than once or twice a game. He threw 50 times in the New England game and only 6 or 7 were more than 10 yards downfield. His offensive allows him to read a book before he needs to make the throw. His run game has been good and he has two explosive receivers and a solid tight end. His defense also happens to be dominating the opponent. As Spongeworthy said, teams will make adjustments and his numbers will come back to the norm eventually. I'll still take my chances with Cutler as my QB over Orton any day of the week.

I guess Dan Dierdorf took over for John Madden as #1 in giving Brett Favre a verbal fellatio. He had an orgasm after Favre got up laughing after a big hit. "Who else takes a hit like that and gets up LAUGHING?" It's gotten to the point where it's nearly unbearable to watch a Vikings game. The Ravens are driving to win the game and all they can show is Favre on the sidelines. I wish someone would just obliterate him and end his season already.
