In place of who? You've got a lefty going tonight, so Fukudome will sit, but that means you'd want Nady in there. Soriano's actually hitting so we want him in there. I guess you could give Byrd another night off, but he too has been one of the few people consistently hitting. "Three starts a week" would say to me he gets some starts against LHP thrown in there. Just saying he's been sitting quite a bit.

I expected mediocrity this year, not total failure. If you're going to be brutal, go all out. If the end result this season means that the Piniella/Hendry regime comes to an end, this year is worth it. Why would Ricketts have to wait until the end of the season? If he's an intimate a fan as he presents himself to be, he should be sick of this along with the rest of us. Seriously, what do we do with Z, Soriano, Grabow, Fukudome? They're not going away. And why does Ramirez not care about being good at baseball until it's warm weather?
