    Have you spoken with Marshall at all about this? I'm sure he's not happy with what's likely to happen, but how's his attitude in general about it? Hopefully he's not taking an "I'm just an employee" attitude like Prior did. His attitude is good. He sees the situation and really isn't one to complain. Marshall would make an excellent long man. The Glendon Rusch Glendon Rusch could never be. He does a good job in my video game. :D You have the liberty of using the "edit player" option! :grin:

    i'd rather not take shard, not so soon after taking benson and paying him a ton of cash. i'd rather not even keep the 14th pick. i'd either like to trade up and try to get long, or trade down and go o-line. so, either way, i want a left tackle. I understand the concerns with Benson, but I'm not certain Benson can produce even with a good OL. My other concern is that the Bears need 2 OL. They need a guard and tackle. If it's going to take them 2 years to effectively fill those 2 positions then I'd rather they just take Mendenhall if he's available at #14. At least then you know you have the RB you need when you finally get the line figured out. Why pass up Mendenhall and still not be able to fix the OL problems?

    Let's hope so. I'll even take Pie is going to be a SOLID player! He'll be solid and then progress to fantastic. I have confidence in Pie producing. The key is playing time and this year is the year for him to get that.

    #1 The Cubs offer isn't a low ball offer. They're already offering too much for Roberts, IMO. #2 I'm certain there are other teams interested in Roberts, but if they aren't desperate enough to give up 4-5 players for him then why even call the O's. They think Roberts is Rogers Hornsby or something. Let DeRo play 2B and Cedeno play SS! (I still have hope for Cedeno!!!!)
