Because he has no position with the Cubs. I don't mind if he's traded, but lets see the Cubs get something of value in return. The problem I have with many of the trade proposals including Murton is that he seems as if he's a throw-in to the deal. I don't want the Cubs to give him away. That said I like Murton a lot and would like to see him get an opportunity to play everyday.

Had Hendry offered that the O's should have accepted immediately.

That's quite possible and I'd rather have Patterson than Cintron. I hope he's their back-up plan for 2B. He may be better then his brother........... hitting wise.

Yeah, I kind of avoided watching Illinois basketball and didn't really get a chance to watch many other teams. I've seen UNC a couple games and I watched some of the Conference tourney games. I was just really behind this year. I'll probably do great now. lol

Murton can't play CF. Hendry's not looking for a right-handed corner OF, he wants a right handed CF to complement Pie because of Pie's massive splits. They should just work on Felix's ability to switch hit. :good:

I agree. He'll come down to earth a bit, but he's still going to hit well. Just not at the clip he did last year.
