  3. I went outside, but it's raining. So I posted in the thread instead.
  4. After playing Guitar Hero III I could pass on hearing Raining Blood for a few months anyway.
  5. +1 And who knows where salaries will be in 8 years. This could be a bargain in 3-4.

  7. Because he has no position with the Cubs. I don't mind if he's traded, but lets see the Cubs get something of value in return. The problem I have with many of the trade proposals including Murton is that he seems as if he's a throw-in to the deal. I don't want the Cubs to give him away. That said I like Murton a lot and would like to see him get an opportunity to play everyday.
  8. Had Hendry offered that the O's should have accepted immediately.
  9. Just dropping in to say hello. I see we still don't have an end to this all. Maybe next week.
  10. No thanks! Marshall is of great value and there's no reason to trade him AND Murton (Who's just as valuable as Spilborghs) for Spilborghs.
  11. Wood will be a great closer!
  12. That's quite possible and I'd rather have Patterson than Cintron. I hope he's their back-up plan for 2B. He may be better then his brother........... hitting wise.
  13. Why? Almost all closers have to start at zero saves sometime. I'm fine with Woody or Marmol. Almost all closers start at zero? lol
  14. Yeah, I kind of avoided watching Illinois basketball and didn't really get a chance to watch many other teams. I've seen UNC a couple games and I watched some of the Conference tourney games. I was just really behind this year. I'll probably do great now. lol
  15. Murton can't play CF. Hendry's not looking for a right-handed corner OF, he wants a right handed CF to complement Pie because of Pie's massive splits. They should just work on Felix's ability to switch hit. :good:
  16. Have mine done. I haven't watched a lot of college basketball this year so mine may be brutal.
  17. GO ILLINOIS!!!! GO ILLINOIS!!!!!
  18. some would argue that his numbers are likely to improve against rhp, though. They very well may. Overall his numbers will be a little bit down, but I think it will still be very respectable.
  19. I agree. He'll come down to earth a bit, but he's still going to hit well. Just not at the clip he did last year.
  20. Look and wave as he passes by.
  21. What worked? That was just a little humor. Guess that didnt work either. No, I laughed. It was because I thought you might be serious. The effort is what counts anyway.
  22. I was starting to wonder when I'd hear the broken record again... RobertsRobertsRobertsRobertsRobertsRobertsRobertsRobertsRobertsRobertsRoberts Seriously though 270 pages. You'd think the Cubs acquired Nomar!
