    There is nothing in the sports world that could begin to relieve the pain if the Cubs blow this thing. Duke Football bowl win would. This might be the funniest thing I have heard all day.

    I think I would almost rather be in some bars at Wrigleyville. It will be interesting to see how many Cub fans will be at Cincy. Hopefully Mark Cuban will be their too :-)

    I think we are missing just how important tonight is for the Brewers with their healthy ace going. A loss puts the Cubs within 1 day of clinching as well.

    Good. Hopefully the Cubs get KC instead. I'm always irritated that the Cards get 2 series against KC each year. But the Cubs are lucky to face a worse White Sox team. This year. But the White Sox at least sprinkle in a few good years. KC is pretty consistent in it's suckitude. Thanks UM...I wouldn't mind Tampa Bay either...seems like we missed them in our last AL East go round... They are getting close to becoming half decent. If Grienke has things figured out they could start to suprise some people. Then again I keep thinking Tampa Bay is going to be better every year.

    That could describle 3/4 of the defenders I've ever had as teamates. I actually came from an area where all of the defenders also were a part of the football team and played a similar linebacker style. Never played dirty, but nothing ever came cheap. It was also helpful where my freshman and sophmore year when we had 3 bench clearing fights in two years.

    Its technically not, but it shows complete disregard for the rules that the actual owners must go by. I don't think the other owners in baseball would think to highly of this.
