They lost to Texas Tech who lost to Mississippi. Big 12 looking very over rated in the bowls. Who beat Florida, while Texas beat OU who plays Florida. It goes full circle.

I fully expect a trade of some sort within the next few days, we have too many spare parts/guys out of options in Pie, Cedeno, Wuertz, R.Hill, Hart, Gaudin, Vizcaino (assuming Marquis is gone), and Ascanio. Not that we could get much for any of those guys but most of them can be on a 25 man somewhere in the league. Also I know you have to have filler guys but why the **** are Sam Fuld, Justin Berg, and Marcus Mateo on the 40 man? They all scuk. I would also expect Rich Hill to be let go in ST if he can't turn things around there, so that could free up space. I wouldn't. Isn't he out of options? I doubt they put him on the 25 man just to hold onto him if he is still sucking through ST. I didn't think he was, but that would change things.

I am still not completely convinced that Wade Phillips job safe. J Jones really likes Shanahan, and Shanahan loves Tony Romo. With all the talk in the locker room being that Phillips was too laid back and didn't have enough control, and rumors that Jones is becoming more upset about the loss now than he was a week ago.

First: Nick is classier then people give him credit for. Second: You are sick man. To think that is your "favorite" story about Alabama. You are sick. You cannot in all seriousness group the majority of Bama with that lunatic, cause I pretty sure every freakin' fan base in America has those kinds of Idiots. That "lunatic" is NOT a representation of the University of Alabama and it's fanbase. And to considered that your favorite Alabama story............that is wrong. It took Saban a couple of months on the job to be reported for NCAA Violations, in Alabama terms that is considered class and a new school record.

Man, the RedFlash response would be epic with a Utah win. You wish. You know Alabama is going to beat Utah. I'd bet Bama wins, but I wouldn't be shocked if Utah beat them. I think I heard the best comparasion of Utah as being "Florida without Tim Tebow." Since Alabama played Florida really tough, and seeing UTAH doesn't have a Tebow at QB, I suspect this game won't be close. If Utah wins---I won't "guarantee" anything more, unless it's a tongue in cheek---it will prolly be the biggest upset in the BCS this yr. Nonetheless, I expect Alabama to win comfortably.

That didn't look real good. Dez Bryant will probably not be playing anymore tonight, and was having a hell of a 1st half. 9 catches, 110 yards and 1 td in less than 2 quarters.

I'm excited about this game tonight. Holiday Bowl is always one of the most entertaining, and both of these teams are more than capable of that.

Garrett was more at fault than Phillips was. He called a WR screen twice on 3rd and 1 and almost refused to run up the middle after having quite a bit of success doing that early on. The OLine was pathetic most of this season, Garrett didn't seem like the same OCoach.
