  1. He's really very good. Not the best pocket passer but I'm guessing that'll come with time. Yeah, he was a 4-star QB out of high school and he's been on campus since February, so he's had some time with this offense. He's known for being a very smart QB with a really accurate arm. I thought he would be good, but he makes great decisions that 22 year olds don't make with few mistakes. Thats the part I wasn't expecting.
  2. Forcier is playing great, I wasn't expecting this at all.
  3. Every coach does that even fatass Weis and you know it. LOLZ HE IS OVERWEIGHT SO AWESOME Sorry let me think of something clever and awesome like DickRod.
  4. Every coach does that even fatass Weis and you know it.
  5. How'd Michigan get the ball back. I had one of those Gulf storms come up and pour for 10 minutes and my DirectTV went out. I saw the missed FG and then the next thing I saw was the TD. Blitz caused the rb to fumble in the backfield.
  6. He is a beast, easily my favorite player not playing for Texas.
  7. i know houston is a pretty good team, but ok st is laying a complete egg. I'm not surprised Houston has scored 24 already, I am that OSU has only scored 7. Wyoming only has 99 total yards in the 1st half, Texas has 237. This game will still turn into a blowout once Texas starts to execute a little better.
  8. The Giggs free kick was nice.
  9. The Arsenal backline have me worried. I want to see this game looking at the gamecast. 60% possession throughout the game outshot City 23-10. Still the first 5 games might be the toughest stretch throughout the season for them, and I was hoping for 10 points after 5. I think they could do better than Almunia, though he probably isn't really the problem. They should be able to go on a nice run for the next month or two in the league.
  10. are you serious? im going to get hooked and end up ordering this bastard, dammit. Yeah I am curious to watch it this weekend. I still won't buy it, but happy to check it out.
  11. I thought all USA needed to clinch a spot was a draw in either of the next 2 games. A draw would put the USA at 17 points, and Costa Rica has 12 points, so if they won their last 2 and USA drew and lost, and Mexico and Honduras both end up with more than 17 points (Mexico has 15, Honduras 13), then USA would still finish 4th. If USA draws to finish with 17, and Costa Rica fails to win 1 of their 2 last games, the most points they can end up with is 16. The US ends with Honduras and Costa Rica. If they draw CR then CR can't get to 17, and if they draw Honduras the most Honduras can get is 17. So they guarantee at least a tie with a draw. Honduras currently leads us in GD by 1 though right now. A CR draw vs. T&T would be perfect.
  12. Costa Rica loses 1-0!
  13. They have no problem killing a ref in mexico should they need too.
  14. Mexico get a goal. I would like to see another angle of Dos Santos going down, it looked like minimal contact with him looking to go down at the 1st chance. Good movement though to get the ball into the box and the defender had a horrible angle. I thought it was a foul when I first saw it.
  15. To be fair, it was pretty odd that FIFA approved a one-time switch to allow Clint to play sweeper for T&T tonight. Unexpected. When Landon slipped that pass back to Clark I sat forward in my chair and thought to myself, "Rico can rip it. I think this is going in." Very nice strike. Yeah, I had the same thought. It's the one thing Rico can do offensively. Shoot from distance. Clint had a shocker to be sure, but he wasn't the only guy to struggle with his touch. Harkes was overboard. Honduras/Mexico so far is entertaining as hell. Honduras' keeper is standing on his head. LOL Maradona. Argie are only 2 points "from the drop" so to speak, in 5th position. They have no defenders. It's like watching last years' Manchester City team play. Honduras is attacking with 2-3 men, even the corner they are bringing only a couple of guys forward. Yet the managed to make Ochoa make a couple of saves. If they can withhold the pressure another 30 minutes it will be a miracle.
  16. 3 points is all that matters, 6 points through the week. The missed handball in the 7th minute or whatever was horrible. No yellows the entire game is amazing so we lose no one heading down to Honduras. The other games are all tied 0-0, two draws would be great for us. A Costa Rica loss would be great, but I'll gladly take a draw. How does Maradona still have a job?

    Week 22

I'm up 112 to 0 this week. My defense is kicking ass.
  18. wait, who's your team again? ND is a joke!
  19. Barry Zito's contract couldn't look any worse.
  20. I was going to mention that should be a match with a lot of rallies. Should be more of the same in Nadal's next match.

    Week 22

I have nothing to say, I just wanted to make a post in this thread.
  22. not getting off work till 8, debating on trying to watch a live feed or just waiting till I get home to watch the dvr
  23. I think Tennessee/UCLA could be competitive for that title as well. But yeah, those matchups should not be 2-3 in biggest games of the weekend. Houston at Oklahoma State. That'll be a really good game (has similar upset potential to OU/BYU), but I don't think it has the national draw that UT/UCLA or ND/Michigan have. It's one of the top games this weekend though. Whats the over/under, could be a high scoring game.
  24. Those are some bold predictions.
  25. Anything new on Bradford?
