And he won't be the 1st reciever taken in 2010. Right. It's a weak receiver class overall, but at this point wouldn't you rather have Dez Bryant? And even if somehow Crabtree was the No. 1 receiver taken, it's a very strong draft class, so he might not get picked until later in the first, anyway. I've got a mancrush on Dez Bryant, Jerry Jones needs to make a move to draft him next year.

Beat me to it. So, I'm not the only one who has heard it. I feel that is pretty definitive considering where I heard it. I live about 15 minutes from The Ballpark In Arlington and have a friend that works in the ticket office, so I hear a lot of Rangers talk around here. I've been saying that for about a year now. -
I would cheer for them to beat Florida if they played.

They did it for the Champions League which is awesome, so I am guessing/hoping it will remain free for the remainder of the year.

That and despite all of the talk on here, we all love the preseason rankings. We can recognize the flaws in having them, but in June/July seeing the magazine with their rankings on the cover is something we all look forward too.

Arsenal take the lead in the 82nd minute. The 2nd goal they had was complete crap, CONCACAF referee quality goal. They put a lot of pressure the last 20 minutes and you could tell that another goal was coming when they were down 2-1.

Arsenal give up two in the first 5 minutes and are stilll down 2-0. So far they have had 70% of the possession and only managed 3 shots in almost 40 minutes.

Yeah, nobody would try ranking baseball teams based on computers after 2 game, why would you do that with college football? Well, since the college football season is only 12 games long, more than 15% of the season is already over. It's more akin to ranking baseball teams after April. Still of limited use, but at least it offers as objective an analysis as is possible at this point. It's still 2 games. The fact that football is so much shorter just makes those types of rankings less meaningless. Exactly and about 95% of those games are meaningless games that show almost nothing about the other team. A computer then should not be able to assess the difference from Florida or Duke without having some sort of data entered in prior to everything. So the quality of the data will have an affect on it output.

How do they not know that you are going to the game or have season tickets?

I think those polls are just as meaningless after two weeks as any other polls. The only thing you can do is watch the games and try to make the most subjective decision based on how those teams looked and the players that they have. Human polls don't do a great job at this, but after two weeks computers do an even worse job. By the end of the year once the computers have enough data to go off of then they can make a more accurate assessment, but not today.

Adebayor charge with two counts today. He is probably going to miss the United match on Saturday plus a couple more.

That was the first I had seen the highlights of the game. He's going to get suspended, and based on the highlights he had a hell of a game too. Craig Bellamy is going to be the difference maker for City this year if they win anything. Adebayor said he went to apologize to van Persie after the game, but he wanted no part of it. I wonder if Hughes will even play him at Emirates next year, he is going to have a huge target on his back if he does.

I like Greenburg. I don't like Golic. I prefer Golic over Greenburg but they both suck. Still not as bad as Bryant Gumble.
