    i missed it, but i agree, i hate our [expletive] team this year. i like broyles and that's about it everyone else can suck a dick. This is the least excited I have been for the game this Saturday in over a decade. The whole Big 12 sucks this year.

    Michigan and Alabama will open the season in Cowboys Stadium. Think I will be going to that.

    Order has finally been restored with the Cubs being outscored 20-1 in the last 15 innings so far today. Hopefully we can recapture that draft position magic we had in August.

    That is funny, though I will cut him a little bit of slack for liking UT. If he shows up to a Redskins game wearing a Cowboys jersey that would be funny as hell.

    I think Cowher is going to be really choosy on where he returns to. I'm thinking the only jobs he'd consider would be those close to his home in North Carolina - Panthers, Titans, maybe Jags (not sure on distance there). That's just going off the comments that he wanted to be with his family when he retired the first time. I wonder if his thinking has changed since the death of his wife? I understand him wanting to be close to his family while she was sick, but now that she has passed away maybe he is more willing to take a job more based on the strength/prestige of the franchise instead of just where it's located? Dallas is is a very good fit for him IMO. That's a good point I didn't think of. It's entirely possible he'll be more open to moving out again. I didn't think of that. His biggest issue is if he could co-exist with Jones which could make Gruden a better candidate. I've been calling for it for two years now, but all they really need is some discipline to make the next step. I still think Gruden would make one hell of a college coach though. He could be a recruiting machine.

    The article appears to be mostly speculation, though they have "sources". They aren't saying anything is going to happen immediately...only if they lose to the Texans. Even if they win on Sunday, fire him and bring in Cowher please.

    A top 4 pick in this draft would have been great. Between Purke, Rendon, and Cole one of them would drop a spot due to signability.

    I just picked up the Tampa Bay defense, currently I have the Cowboys going to Houston. Figured the Steelers might struggle this week with the QB situation going on. Is there any other Defense I should keep an eye out for?

    Not quite sure what he's done to lower his stock. He just posted his fourth straight season with a sub-2.00 ERA, and I believe he had a career best K/9 this season. His home run rate is also ridiculously low. I was going to say - he has done nothing to lower his stock. The only thing I can think of is that MLB teams aren't as enamored with Japanese pitchers in the majors as a whole. Or paying a massive posting fee before being able to sign him.
