So Davies claims he wasn't the one driving now and that he switched palces to cover up for one of his teammates. Still he shouldn't be in a car with someone driving like that, or at least be saying something to the driver. However I do feel a little better about the whole thing.

Actually few people thought that. There were a lot of question marks on thus team to begin with and no one picked the Cubs to win anything. Money was available if this team was in it at the deadline but they were not.

Wow the Rangers are looking dangerous now. Shields is really pissy in the dugout after not getting the checkswing appeal giving Young the 3 run hr after that. Ha Maddon just got tossed too.

I figured they'd be cheap. Actually, now that I think about it, I'm going to swap out David DeJesus with Alex Gordon. If we get Alex Gordon and he's on the bench behind both Colvin and Overbay, my head may just explode. We should probably avoid getting Alex Gordon all together then. -
This season listening to him tell stories about slumpbusters would have been better than the actual Cubs.

The rule is: It is too late to add players to your roster once YOUR team's season is over. To make it fair, should playoff teams that make moves during the postseason not be allowed to keep any player they pick up during that time? This is my issue with it. It needs to be an all or none scenario. Playoff teams should not be allowed to pick up players when everyone else can't. Also to add to that. Players drafted in the same year should not be eligible as FA if they come up to the majors that same year. Wehave a minor league draft for that purpose. But they should not be the subject of waiver wire.

Holy [expletive]. Its 13.5 to 13.5 now after Fowler manages a comeback to halve his match. It all comes down to Mahan now who is down 1 with 3 to play. He only needs to halve the match for the retain the Cup. Damn now he is down 2 with 2 to play.
