  1. I won a chance to meet Craig James today at SMU. I thought it was for next Monday, oh well.
  2. Its very easy for us to do in Dallas, and justified.
  3. as someone who watched those games, let's just say that if OU is No. 1, it's more of a down year in college football than we thought. I mean, I get the argument and I see why they're No. 1 at this point, but the odds of it lasting are next to 0 Yea, I think OU gets beat sometime this season too. i mean, at osu, at missouri, at texas a&M? this team is way too stupid to win all 3 of those on the road OU will have more trouble with Baylor than A&M this season.

OU at #1 is better than two computer polls having LSU at #1. I thought computers knew that Les Miles was a complete idiot too.
  5. Wade Phillips job is still not in jeopardy.
  6. I'm sick of all of the penalties in general. I like what Roy Williams has been doing though. I agree. But those two penalties, the one from this week and last week, seem rather ticky tacky. Offense looking a little better, but I'm nervous as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs. I liked after his 2nd Roy was waving off Hurd to go to the sideline.

  8. Stanford is a better job right now than A&M, plus he will be at Michigan very soon. You should make a run at Leech.
  9. oh god no Just hope and pray Oklahoma and Oregon can do something about that. This would be the worst OU team to ever make the title game. TCU and Boise St would cause some changes, and I am all for it.

  11. nevermind, i don't know the rules apparently Nebraska is either choking or their receivers completely suck. Maybe both, either way it will be great to finish against Nebraska 9-1 in Big 12 play winning the 1st and last years.
  12. Van der Sar just made a huge mistake, West Brom ties it at 2-2 at Old Trafford.
  13. I agree, I just don't like Blatter hyping up the Middle East.
  14. Thats the way it seems, though I don't really understand why Europe/England is a lock for 2018 though it makes it a lot easier for the US to win 2022. I don't see how they could justify going to Japan or South Korea over the US. That leaves us to worry about Austraila or Qatar.
  15. Black Bear. Something to do with the Teddy Bear having originated in Mississippi when Roosevelt was hunting down here and didn't want to shoot a bear cub. It's lame. ha - the Ole Miss Teddy Bears. http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk233/WrestlingClique/Barney.gif http://bestuff.com/images/images_of_stuff/210x600/chocolate-teddy-grahams-158196.jpg?1220736678
  16. I have the same issue with Schaub. He is frustrating the hell out of me the last couple of weeks. KC's defense does worry me some too along with Andre Johnson not being 100%.
  17. I fully expect it to be hung over the bar at one of the south side's finest establishments. I don't think he is going to exchange the bat for coke.
  18. I agree especially since this likely means Hanner is headed to IU. \:D/ Baylor and IU were his leaders. That was my first thought #-o Drew is absolutly hated by the other coaches in the Big 12.
  19. Rangers just swept the Yankees a couple of weeks ago. Before the playoffs started I thought the Yankees were a better matchup for the Rangers than the Rays. Congrats to Nolan Ryan. Knowing he will need to lean on him for the rest of the playoffs was it necessary for Washington to let Lee go out for the ninth with a 4 run lead and wind up with 120 pitches? The way Tampa put runs on the board late in games 3 & 4 I would have kept Lee in the way he was pitching. He was at his best the last couple of innings. I don't think you assume a win going into the 9th inning after blowing a 2 games to 0 lead and the lead in the 8th inning of game 3.
  20. Should the Cubs make a run at Cliff Lee. Its going to be very expensive and will probably take him into his 37th-38th Birthday. 9 times out of 10 I would say no. We will have Dempster off the books after next season. He's good enough to make me at least think about it, and if we stumble into the playoffs somehow the next two years who is our ace.

  22. Gardenhire's contract runs up next year, but he will probably get an extension before next year. Wish we could snag him.
  23. I would hope that any new coach would not object to those two guys for the simple fact of wanting to bring in his own.
  24. It does seem to add credence to the theory that Quade will be managing the team next season. I'm not sure about this logic. I recall reports about Larry's option (though I don't recall the source) stated that this was merely for him to show his intention, and that even if he exercised the option there was still a decent possibility of him not being brought back for next year, due to a manager's preference. I'm thinking Quade's the guy, too, but unless Larry has insider information (and maybe he does), this doesn't really reflect that. Larry was also retained before Lou was hired too.
  25. They really love that Pac-10 SOS.
