    Must only be in the US then. When I was in Japan a few weeks ago, there was an ad I saw run several times for Asahi beer, prominently featuring Hideki Matsui. It is a U.S. thing. But I think the rule is you can't drink alcohol in a commercial.

    Rereading this thread for the IU/Illinois talk and saw this for the first time. My eyes lit up. Surely he's got to be done for the season, right? So he doesn't annoy just Iowa fans huh. :D

    Just another reason to hate the crybaby cheater. :lol: I get the cheater refrence...but why is he a crybaby? When I was watching the Iowa vs. IU game last week he seemed to be whining excessively to the ref's. I know many coaches cry to the ref's, it just seemed excessive to me. Hence my new name for him the crybaby cheater.

    I don't think this is a issue at all. But Marquis was already going to be on the hot seat with the fans. For him this was not a smart decision. Can we say Jaque Jones from last year.

    I can't believe I am saying this but I actually want Illinois to beat the Cheating crybaby. If they win and Iowa pulls off the HUGE upset, Iowa is in 3rd place. If Illinois wins and Iowa loses, Iowa has a shot at them the last week of the season anyways. My basketball hatred of Illinois has been far exceed by the Cheating crybaby.

    That sucks. I'm in Milwaukee, right in the heart of Big Ten country, and I am not getting the IU-Illinois game until halftime. They are showing some freaking Seton Hall game at 11 and will join IU-ILL in progress at 1pm. Freaking idiotic. Hopefully for your sake the Seton Hall game doesn't go into OT. :)

    I played in public league last year I would not mind getting into a NSBB league this year. Maybe people would actually care about their team.

    He didn't say that someone should be put on the roster only as an emergency catcher-he just asked if anybody currently on the roster could serve as an emergency catcher. While it may not come up during the season, it's still a good thing to know. It may not come up but could easily happen. Pinch hitter for the starter then the back up gets hurt. Presto you need a 3rd catcher. Like I said earlier, when is Blanco going to be pinch hitting while there are still players on the bench? He's the worst bat on the bench. I think he's talk about a situation where Blanco is starting, is pinch-hit for then Barrett is injured. For the record my money is on either Ward or Theriot being the number three catcher. Exactly

But I am sure some one on the 25 man roster caught in High School or early in their Minor League career.

    That's unfair to him. He's not the reason they lost. This was a team loss, from coaches to offense to defense to special teams. Gould and Hester get to avoid blame, but everyone else has a equal share. Yes unfortunately Rex is going to to get crucified for this. He was not good by any means but not horrible either. He does not deserve the criticism. Sure hope Rex doesn't have a Slingbox :lol:
