    Are you referring to when Dawson threw bats at him on the field? I love Dawson...it was that situation that burned the Joe West name into my head. I've seen/heard him screw up a million times since then. He's like a "bad guy" WWF referee. Yes, that's it! I'd never seen Dawson blow up like that...I seem to remember back then that the announcers said that West and Dawson had a "history"

    Isn't Joe West the ump with a vendetta against Andre Dawson? I seem to remember (vaguely) some situations that the Hawk uncharacteristically blew his top because of some Joe West calls.

    I think the Cubs could tank the rest of the year and Hendry wouldn't fire Baker. His stubborn insistence that Dusty's job is secure is beyond baffling or beyond reason. After seeing Hendry's comments from the interview in the Trib this morning, I can only conclude that Hendry is delusionally insane. The man's head is in the sand. :evil:

    Unreal..."shakin' up the lineup" keeps going to new lows... Yesterday's lineup was lower than this one. And why does Dusty feel the need to play Jerry all of a sudden? He doesn't play him for like a month and now he's getting all the starts? And WHERE THE HELL IS MURT? Yeah, that was bad too, but at least Barrett was in, for what it's worth... Gads....
