Daniel Bard walked 24 guys in 9.1 innings in 2017 (his last as a pro). This year he has K'd 12 and walked zero in 9 IP. Pretty damn cool.

If the players got it doing something reckless like going to a casino or whatever nonsense the Cardinals seem to have done I’m fine with canceling/voiding a team. The casino story was a rumor from Jerry Hairston on twitter not realizing it was players going to a drive in concert at an amphitheater a month ago.

LoCain - second highest paid CF in baseball in 2021 and tenth highest paid OF (as of now). That contract was good in 2018, meh in 2019 a wash i n 2020, but probably an albatross for a small market team in 2021 and 2022. Albatross contracts don’t exist.

Didn't we have him in camp or on a minor league deal or something one year? Yep. Since being waived by the Red Sox, he's played for the Cubs, Rangers, Cubs again, Pirates, Cardinals, Mets and now Rockies.
