    I can see the motivation for Hendry to respond to the allegation that hate mail originated from within the organization. Even hinting that MB thought it came from within requires some level of response from Hendry. I get that. The media is clearly bating MB though and he is too dumb to see it. Thanking Jim Hendry for $30M is a pretty classless move. That is like saying "I may have sucked but at least I convinced him to give me $30M so who's the real idiot here?". Milton Bradley is a racist piece of trash with obvious issues. Eric Wedge knew it. The Dodgers knew it and now the Cubs know it. Perhaps he, Hawkins and Baker did receive hate mail, I certainly wouldn't doubt it with all the nutjobs out there. But how quick they were to use that as the reason for their suckitude. At this point, the entire Cubs organization needs to take the high road and stop commenting. Hendry, Lou, players, everyone should just refuse to respond going forward and let MB run his mouth as much as he wants. He is a ticking timebomb. Now that he has played the race card as the reason he sucked last year he has to know that chip is likely spent. If he sucks this year he's going to have to find a new excuse and the pressure is on him. The spotlight is on him.
