    lol yeah right the NFL is a fickle game you think the chargers are going to dump a very good running back who's the face of the franchise because his 5'6" backup had a good game and is now ready to be a feature back carrying the ball 250+ times? get real. LT is definitely past his prime though. He has been babied carry wise for quite sometime and is still clearly over the hill. SD should split carries between the two.

    apparently virtually all football teams from wisconsin have realized if your d sucks just commit illegal contact or pass interference every single down and the refs wont bother calling it.

    how can you call the huet signing bad? he has played a few games. it is not like the guy suddenly got terrible in 4 months. he was fine, he just got bunched for price b/c montreal fans have no grasp on reality and thought price was the next patrick roy. savard was a pretty bad coach. his powerplays always underachieved. i have never seen a man be able to do less with more on the pp than him. and lang was terrible. give it a rest.

    Not sure why you're shocked about that. Illinois' three wins: EIU, UL-Lafayette, Michigan. That's almost Notre Dame-like bad. They don't deserve to be ranked right now. however if they had played 5 teams of that caliber like northwestern has, they would be ranked?

    How about anything but "be patient"? You really don't see the prolem with that quote? Really? well arent the playoffs a crapshoot anyway, so fans should wait until they get lucky one year? honestly, apparently regular season success doesn't mean anything in a 5 game series (which is 5 games thanks to the great minds in charge of the MLB)

    its kind of true, and his english isn't that great anyway. i wouldn't expect him to be the most articulate guy. watching it his comment didn't stand out that much. he just was asked what about the fans, and said he knows its dissapointing but to be patient. what is he supposed to say?

    funny this cubs team kind of reminds me of yankees teams of recent years in the playoffs...a lineup that in the regular season was top to bottom solid as heck...but then does nothing in the playoffs. too bad torre's team wasn't the one to choke this time around.

Never heard that one before? yeah that worries me. I didn't think Lang was such a bad player really, I don't really think they should have traded him with the depth issues we have. It wouldn't bother me so much if it was a new problem. But it's like Wood/Prior '05. I'm just tired of hearing the *same* plan every year. the blackhawks haven't had anywhere near the talent they have now. not since the mid 90s. they were totally void of any meaningful talent for a long itme.

Never heard that one before? meh, i doubt they will miss robert lang too much, that guy plays with no effort or passion for 75% of the season. not to mention he makes the stupidest passes on the powerplay. lang, you are not crosby or jumbo joe. you are not spezza. hell, you are not even kane.

    This I agree with. All series should be 7 games. no way! that would mean possibly shortening the regular season 2 or 3 games. impossible to do in selig's cluster eff of a mind i am sure
