  1. have fun losing to gonzaga and continuing your wonderful education at the prestigious western kentucky!!!!!!!!!
  2. damn trent
  3. way to go illinois. western kentucky huh
  4. Yah, Richards is not a dirty player. Don't wear a visor if you are going to play like that (taking runs at guy -its not dirty, but...) though. I guess it is the philly way.
  5. USA got beat by their own territory which is not even an independent country. Ha!
  6. Sean Avery is amazing
  7. these refs are pretty terrible.
  8. I think its funny that Modano and Turco led the troops in gettting rid of Avery. Like Ott is any better? Getting rid of Avery was just a great way for those two veterans to blame their terrible play on someone else.
  9. The NHL is terrible at marketing. Sean Avery maybe an idiot, but he was totally right when talking about how the NHL does a terrible job of marketing. Any league that would have marketing campaigns based on a guy like Jarome Iginla is a total joke.
  10. So is there any doubt now that Pujols is a dirty dirty cheater?
  11. they didn't even review the last play? the one thing the nfl is good at it it screws up haha
  12. helmet to helmet blocks are the steelers favorites. very dirty team
  13. i see a lot of roughing at the end of the second. detroit would be truly dominant of they had a top 10 (or even top 15) goalie..
  14. I was going to say Kane hacks someone...then gets hit back and starts whining and backing off. I don't want him getting into it, but don't start it and then back away and make people fight for you. Ever since Cleary hit him he's been invisible IMO probably because he is playing with a high ankle sprain....and yes kane's way of retaliating and defending himself is to high stick/slash....what else is he supposed to do. Do nothing. He doesn't need to react every time he's hit. he doesn't...if he did, he would do it 2-3 times a game. anyways, his struggles will probably end soon, as he seems to be skating a lot stronger as his ankle heals. there was a good stretch after that cleary hit where he maybe should of just sat out and rested it but played through it (props to him).

  16. On a related note, it looks like Ray Emery is playing his way back into the NHL over there in Russia. Also, does anyone else think its insane that Sean Avery is basically kicked out of the NHL for the season because Morrow/Turco/Modano are a bunch of pansy pushovers who couldn't tell him to shutup in the locker room? Shanahan and Jagr could handle him fine. Same with the veterans in Detroit. I guess all the talk about Morrow being the greatest leader ever can be discounted. what suggests that the veterans in detroit liked him (besides Hull)? he got traded to the kings, after all. then he got run off the team there on two occasions. then, despite all of the success with him in the lineup and cap room coming off the books thanks to said veterans, he wasn't re-signed by the rangers. he's run out of the league because despite what veterans say to him, he doesn't listen. he puts himself ahead of the team and it cost him his job. i don't get any complaining about this. It's not about liking him, it is about being able to keep him from being a negative influence on the team. Overall, Avery helped more than he hurt in Detroit and NY. I'm sure he could be a positive influence in the right situation again. It's just if a team has no real veteran leaders with the balls to keep him in line, he becomes a locker room cancer.
  17. The officiating is pretty comical right now in the Illini - Spartans game. I wonder what the foul count is in the second half?

  19. he is the next eric crouch. except not as good of an athlete, so even less of a career
  20. that tackle was legal...he grabbed jersey not shoulder pads. looked like a bad groin injury...
  21. isn't leading with your helmet like that 15 yards?
  22. it all goes in cycles. in 10 years the SEC could easily be in a similar situation
  23. texas sure proved they belonged in the national championship game.
