May is fighting himself? I had to look it up, forgot about Pac's problem with gay marriage. I don't exactly look to boxers for enlightenment and social progress, even if one is a congressman in his country.

The PPV is going to be $100, isn't it? Why not, then they can charge $80 for the next Cotto fight. It's a shame this fight didn't have five years ago, but I'm still interested.

Yeah, I'm with Brian on this one. It's a matter of courtesy. In St. Louis they have curtains they pull closed during play at each section entrance. You can step inside the curtain and stand there until a whistle, but they make clear you should wait. They seemed more laid back about it at the UC.

They do still have to go to Norman. i assume they'll lose that one, but iowa st (baylor, @ kstate, oklahoma, @ tcu) will also drop at least one more meaning kansas will at least share the title with iowa st. very happy kstate beat kansas yesterday, but now i'm concerned about iowa st's trip to manhattan on Saturday. At this point, we'll be lucky to get a tie. ISU is playing about 30x better than us and could very easily run the table. KU will almost certainly lose at OU, and they way we're playing, neither UT or WVU at home is a gimme. There's no way KSU puts together another game like that to beat ISU. That game meant everything to their fans, their players, their coach, their school. Such a weird culture there. Really runs on hate. Even their AD's apology press release for that absurd display at the end included gloating shots at KU. It's no mystery, just a huge (and justified) inferiority complex. And I agree re. that game against ISU. K-state gave their best. That could very easily be a blowout for the clones.

Yeah, I definitely noticed a changed crowd when I went to a game in December. But you know, I'm not going to be one of those people who complains that every seat is full and they can't stretch out -- there were actually STHs bitching about that a few years ago. The important thing is the franchise is healthy and kids/young adults are being exposed to the game now in ways that will benefit the team and the league for decades.

Yeah, this [expletive] is out of hand. And not only for the safety of it. This KU team is not great, and it's a testament to Self that they are still (at least for the rest of the week) a top-10 team. But they've lost six games this year, and the opponents have stormed the floor 4 or 5 times now. What do they say, act like you've been there before?

This. My attitude is, we get through regulation, great, we got a point. It's basically a tie. If we win the SO, even better. But I don't get upset if we lose the SO.

Agreed, I also think we could be seeing these two teams meet for the Stanley Cup in June. What a great Final that would be. Yeah, that would be amazing. Though it would be tough to top the series from a few years ago.
