  1. National Puss League
  2. I won every year but my dad was pretty handy and "helped" me quite a bit. Loaded them down with as much lead as we could to keep within the weight limit. I found those cars when we were moving last spring. They're pretty smooth.
  3. The few Eagle Scouts I knew were [expletive] terrifying. The Boy Scouts were dorks, but [expletive] those Eagle Scouts were all intensity and bottled up fury. Same here. It's like they dedicated their lives to some made-up purpose and didn't bother trying to live it on their terms or search out any meaning for themselves. The result is a ruined, soulless man with no future other then trying to control others. There's a reason they tried to ban gays They tried to ban the gays because they think it's what Jesus would do. Which is funny to me because they compromised, of course, and now there's a uber-Christian and conservative alternative to BSA that has popped up among mostly weirdo home school families. Just think about those kids. They were too dorky for the Boy Scouts so their folks created them their own organization. No dork left behind. And dammit I said I was done with the Bears and posting in game threads this year. And due to Thanksgiving and [expletive] relatives being at our house I will be forced to watch the game. And how is Jesus not a made-up purpose again? You won't get an argument from me on that. But I didn't think that was what you meant.

  5. Yeah, [expletive] y'all.
  6. Yeah just saw on Twitter that Shaw plays tomorrow and Sharpie will be back on 12/3 against St. Louis.
  7. Feels like they put up 1 or 2 of those out west every season. Or Edmonton does it to them. We owed them that one.
  8. That I 100% agree with. My only beef with the reporter is maybe (maybe) he could have reached out to them for comment. But as I typed that I'm not sure that even makes sense because several people got fired and he couldn't be expected to contact all of them. ETA: But ultimately, Feder probably couldn't have known that the bosses at that station would be so unprofessional. So instead of reporting the story, he's supposed to contact the employees directly to inform them directly they're fired? No, of course not. To put a bow on my opinion here, it's far for the reporter to assume they had been told by then, so he's off the hook.
  9. I'm willing to give these folks a lot of latitude. I saw someone on Twitter criticize them for calling for Trestman to be fired later in the show, as though there is some hypocrisy there. These folks aren't going to have a multi-million dollar golden parachute. Christmas is coming up. Maybe these employees have kids. The emotions, trying to process this huge shock and remain focused on the air? That's too much to ask IMO.

But as I typed that I'm not sure that even makes sense because several people got fired and he couldn't be expected to contact all of them. And he probably had no idea that they didn't know. I was editing my last post to say that exact thing.

  12. Just listened to it. I have a hard time blaming the Finfer guy for the way he reacted and I hope it doesn't hurt his prospects going forward. It had to take all the restraint he had to not just peace-out that place on the spot. And he's apparently back on the air today.
  13. I went searching for them on waivers in all my leagues. Thankfully they were taken already.
  14. More sweet goals. Fun for all before the circus trip.
  15. Highlight reel goal to start this one.
  16. Later Trestman. And Emery for being so much [expletive] smarter than everyone else. I wish we had an owner that gave a [expletive].
  17. He doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who can pull off brutal honesty.
  18. This reminds me of Jauron's last game, a 31-3 beating at Arrowhead that I unfortunately sat through in person.
  19. Will you shut the [expletive] up. He looks [expletive] awful. The whole team is a mess, but he's the franchise QB and he looks just as bad as everyone else.
  20. I didn't think 3 weeks ago there was a chance but now I'm wondering if he gets replaced before the season is over. Why wait. Tomorrow. [expletive], halftime.
  21. How is that not a PF?
  22. If we want anything to change things have to get real ugly.
  23. Things going pretty well so far tonight.
  24. Sanu. Because F Tate. Yeah, If I'd started him I would've won.
