    Um, ok. Pacquiao in a 8th round stoppage. Hatton couldn't even knock Malinaggi out. He'll get hit early, revert to his bull-rush brawling style and Pacquiao will out box him and pick him apart. This is pretty much my thoughts on it. If I thought it would be more competitive I would order the fight, but I don't see Hatton keeping up. If he has any chance, it's because Manny looks pretty gaunt at 140.

    I like Hart a lot more than Harang, but it wouldn't be the most nuts trade ever if he needs pitching and has OF to spare. Harang was pretty darn fantastic prior to last year. He's also been pretty darn fantastic this year at times. It's tough to gauge whether or not he's back to his old ways or still trying to break out of his crappy ways. Personally, if it's the former, I think he's worth more than Corey Hart. I would've considered the Maggs trade. Unless you need SB and he made the most sense. I just don't like Corey Hart as a fantasy player. Sure he'll hit 20HR and steal 20 bases, but it's sporadic. It's never enough consistently throughout the year to warrant starting him every day. Personally I would've considered the Maggs trade, but that's just me. He's not gonna hit .240 the rest of the year, and he's consistently put up a .300AVG or better (.298 in 06) 20+HR and 100+RBI the past three seasons. I guess what it boils down to is whether or not steals are your priority here. Steals are a priority. He actually declined Hart for Harang now, and is asking for Peavy instead. He's pumping up Hart as a 30-30 guy. I just don't see that. 20-20 maybe, but not 30-30. I'm in the position of strength here, so I'm just going to wait this out.

    It probably is asking a bit much. But it isn't asking much to have defensemen who actually stay in position. And when that rebound comes out into the slot, it would be nice if said defensemen would clear the puck. I was pretty happy with Pahlsson the last few games of the Calgary series. Now I want Wiz back again.

    Last time I tried to do this my deposition got cancelled and I had to sell my Cubs playoff ticket. But here I go again. Work is taking me to Chicago on Tuesday. Going to try to find a ticket to Game 3. Have to.

    Same here. I was pissed last night because they got my hopes up, but after thinking on it, the comeback was obviously a good thing. It gave the offensive guys confidence and planted in the 'Nucks heads that the Hawks took their best shot and jumped right back on their feet. I want to see the Hawks come out flying tomorrow night.

    Who me? I was just saying they needed to take 1 or the first two. I knew it would be this one. Everyone besides us was madly panicking. I think we were the only ones that kept a cool head (I know we were getting destroyed) but as long as we win one in Vancouver, everything's fine. I know, I was just kidding. Suddenly in a good mood. For now.
