  1. What am I missing? http://www.nhl.com/ice/schedulebyweek.htm?navid=NAV|SCH|Main Blackhakwks?
  2. The knee brace on that last one is classic.
  3. Neat story about Tallon from Vancouver: http://www.vancouversun.com/sports/hockey/vancouver-canucks/Hawks+make+local+bartender+their+fans/1579055/story.html And a ton more apocalyptic thoughts in The Sun this morning. Love it!
  4. What's with the fans throwing all that crap on the ice? Seems like Canadian hockey fans would be above all that. I know they are passionate, but that's just silly.
  5. Bring a video camera if possible. I'd go. I might skip out on work and get an SRO ticket and drive up. What a night that is going to be.
  6. I was out tonight and couldn't get home due to being too drunk to drive, but just got home and watched the game on fast-forward. What a game. I love this team and I can't wait for Monday night.
  7. That's ridiculous. The NHL needs to get back to ESPN immediately. Not sure why you'd say it's "not on TV". The game will be broadcast on multiple networks: TSN (HD),RDS (HD),NHLN-US,FS-W (HD),FS-D (HD) That means it will be availabe on Center Ice like all other playoff games that have not been Versus or NBC games (which, strangely enough, has been a lot of Boston games). But it will also be available on NHL Network, which has got to be available on just about every system that provides Versus. That is not to say the NHL has done a good job televising games. ESPN would be most convenient, since it's everywhere, including every hotel and bar. But the game is definitely on television and available to most anybody that would want to watch it. I took his word for it. But if you don't have CI, there are a lot of cable systems that don't have NHLN. I wish I got TSN on the satellite. Seems like something Directv could arrange to carry.
  8. Those articles and columns are definitely written for a different audience. But I prefer reading them over the local folks, except maybe the Daily Herald.
  9. I guess I didn't realize in all the craziness that Bieksa apparently suffered a pretty bad knee injury last night and is questionable for the next game, and I get the impression from this article that Salo might not be back tomorrow either. http://www.vancouversun.com/sports/hockey/vancouver-canucks/Canucks+were+within+minutes+series/1574529/story.html

  11. Why would anyone NOT be on the bandwagon?
  12. The city's ok, it's the majority of the people that suck. What high school did you go to?!?!?! haha jk The biggest problem with St. Louis folk, other than the hoosiers, is their ridiculous inferiority complex about Chicago. You'll hear the uneducated doofs talk all the time about how Chicago sucks and this and that. They sound so stupid, but there is no arguing with them.
  13. http://assets.sbnation.com/assets/94455/Jesus_Havlat.jpg Praise Him.
  14. I don't think it was a poor strategy. It certainly wasn't fan-friendly, but it's not their job to entertain us. Their strategy worked like a champ against the Hawks all night and if not for an amazing hussle play and sweet pass by Ladd, followed by a perfect shot by Havlat, the strategy probably would have led to a win. I'm still waiting for that game where the Hawks blow up for the first minute and run them out of the building like they did the Flames in one the games, Game 5, I think. It would be nice to see them repeat that effort.
  15. I just got to work and watched the highlights again and was as excited as when it happened. I always tell my wife wins stay with me longer than losses. I could hardly get to sleep last night I was so happy. There are many ways to split your first two home games in a series, and usually you are left with a negative or meh feel about it. This is probably the best possible way to come out of it with a split. If the Hawks can find a way to take Game 5, I can't wait to see Monday night with a chance to close them out.
  16. They're the anti-Cubs Seems that way, doesn't it? Wangs just tied it. I can't stay up to watch this game though. Going to bed a happy human though! I'm too charged up to go to bed... just passed my final practicals and only have ONE MORE CLASS to go until I am done! GO DUCKS! Take it easy, kujay! I'm trying man! I'm trying. What a game. Drank too much earlier, and wayyyyyyyy too much excitement here!

  19. I can't believe that just happened. What a momentum boost going in to Saturday night! [expletive] I can't for Saturday night now! HAWKS WIN! HAWKS WIN! Could we be closing this out on Monday night at the UC! Bring on the Quackers! LET'S GO HAWKS!
  20. Okay, my satellite just went out due to storms. I'm glad it waited a minute or two. HAWKS WIN! HAWKS WIN! I can't believe this [expletive] team!
  21. YEYSYESYEAYSYSYSYSYSYSYWSYS Andrew ALaddd!!!!!!!! Hawks win! God is great!
