    3rd try, the last being a few days ago, I finally did it. 122/122, with about 3:00 left. I know all these teams. NBA is the one I follow the least, but I still know all the teams. Surprised it took me three tries.

    If it wasnt game 7, if he was not a top player...he may be facing a suspension for that. I think I have found the NHLs standard. Pretty much.

    Congrats Cyno. We've got a great couple of nights of Game 7s before the real fun starts now. I still can't get past wanting to face Detroit. Especially since the Ducks are no easy out anyway.

    That elbow by Niedermayer was wicked. I look at the box score this morning and saw all those PIMs at the end and was hoping someone had posted it. Thanks!

    The slight hand fake Kane put on immediately before he went on the backhand to score the third goal was one of the most amazing moves I've ever seen. Completely froze the defenseman. And on his second goal, how awesome was it that the puck bounced right over that bum Willie Mitchell's stick. Half-heartedly watching this ANH-DET game tonight. I hope ANH wins tonight, but I'm still spent from the emotion of last night.

    It's possible that I've re-watched Kane's last goal 50 times in the last 18 hours. I was lucky enough to have a little travel take me north today so I could listen to the Score all day in the car. I could've believe it. Absolutely 100%, nonstop hockey talk. Murphy, Mully and Zaidman. All Hawks, and everyone was pumped. I never believed it would happen this fast. I just got home and read back through the last few pages of this thread. Need to read all the articles now. We can disagree here about whether we want Anaheim or Detroit, but I think we can all agree that tonight Anaheim needs to win and force a Game 7. And maybe kneecap Hossa. :wink:

    I hear you. And I wouldn't be talking either, though I fully expect the Wings to close it out tomorrow night. Then we can talk.

    Going to bed a happy human tonight. Take a few days off, and let's get this [expletive] going against whoever later this week. Another few weeks of hockey is always a good thing. I turn 30 on June 6. My wife asked me a couple months ago what I wanted for my birthday, and I told her, "I want the Hawks to still be playing." We're getting close®!

    but the wings are like the russian national team. they are a machine. makes for good theatre if we can take em deep, though. plus, they've had a good whoopin coming from the hawks for a long time. Hawks have played them tough all season. They need to play the full 60min against them and it'll be a great series. You must have missed the home and home they had when the Hawks were within 5 points of first place. Ah, there he is. :wink: Your boys pounded us in December/January when it mattered, but I think the Hawks firepower can punch more than a few holes in Osgood.

    I keep watching Kane's last goal over again, and I swear I've never heard a roar like that at a Hawks game.
