    Do most athletes? Usually not. The funny thing is ESPN printed this knowing it would make him sound stupid. Not that they shouldn't have because of that. I'm not sure if it's newsworthy.

    One of the few legit centers in the organization, I guess. I see a guy who isn't terribly physical, doesn't really score, is so-so in his own zone and hasn't lived up to his reputation on faceoffs. I guess he's a "legit" center, but not by much. How much did that bout with mono affect his play since returning? I don't know anything about the guy, but I have to assume he's not at this best right now. I still see them trying to keep him around. Well, that is certainly the wild card with him. And I admit, I had never seen him play for more than a few minutes before he came to the Hawks. So maybe he can be a difference maker. But he hasn't shown any offensive touch.

    I don't like Pahlsson, but I think Tallon will resign him. Have to justify getting rid of Wiz. Seriously, what is Pahlsson good for?

    Apparently Ankiel will be back on Wednesday, as will Carpenter. But still, yes. No reason to give Albert anything to hit. The rest of their lineup is crap right now.

    Either the Red Wings were disciplined all game or the refs were just horrible. I'll go with the 1st. The refs missed a few calls, but they weren't horrible. And the Wings were disciplined. They are very experienced and they know what they can get away with in the playoffs. And they are putting that experience into action.

    We are getting a ton of chances here. I know it's cuz the Wings are falling back, but I still hope it gives the guys some confidence going forward in this series.

    No, it hasn't been close since about 8:00 into the first. Entertaining, but Detroit is dominating. But let the guys get used to them again, and I think they'll be fine. It's only a one-goal game.
