  1. Not gonna lie, I care about none of that right now.
  2. I'm leary of all this Harbaugh talk. I just don't think he would leave Stanford for KU, though from what I hear they could offer him a big raise.
  3. Why would Enberg want to do the baseball grind, even if it is only 110-120 games? This is odd.
  4. I've been waiting for them to kick it into gear for awhile and I agree this ought to get them going. As it stands only 5 points out of the 8th spot with a game in hand. They have a good enough team to fight for that 8th spot. They won't go anywhere in the playoffs, but they should get there. Just need the scorers to start scoring.
  5. Alright, Nashville is getting a little uppity. Five points behind us in second place. Who do they think they are? Time to remind them tonight. The runup to the olympics is pretty important with all the home games. We talk a lot about the circus trip, but they still have that ridiculous January trip. And it is ridiculous. There are some ridiculous travels with only one day in between. Ottawa to Calgary? San Jose to Raleigh? Yuck. Anyway, I know I'm paranoid, but now is the time to pad that lead.
  6. Mayweather has never faced a southpaw as fast and explosive as Pacquiao. Zab Judah gave him trouble in the early rounds. His shoulder roll defense won't work when he's taking punches from all angles. This fight will be easier than the Cotto fight. I disagree. Sulley is right, this is a bad matchup. I hate to say it because I'd like to see Manny destroy him, but I think Mayweather is fast enough to stay away from Manny and make this a boring fight. He's going to look like Corey Spinks with slightly more punching power.
  7. There was no way either of them would walk away from this type of payday. This is the only fight that matters in boxing right now and it shoud be amazing. My only initial concern is that Floyd will see Pacquiao's power and start dancing. And he's fast enough to do it. That could make a boring fight.
  8. And with Michigan tanking it looks worse than it did at the start of the year. UCLA too. Nothing they can do about that though. No, you're right. And I guess the good thing is that the way things are going they are probably going to be a lock for a #1 seed anyway. It's not going to come down to SoS. Great job Illini!
  9. If that's the case I'd be willing to bet it's Sopel to Toronto. That's been rumored for awhile. But I don't think the Hawks would call this press conference and let it get out there that the deals were done unless the cap situation was taken care of. And if there was a trade done, it would have leaked by now.
  10. And with Michigan tanking it looks worse than it did at the start of the year. I turned the game off tonight after the first half. It was embarassing.
  11. That is pretty strong. Something tells me Parnevik is worried about being in any final-round pairings with Tiger anytime soon. How fun would that be though? He's Tiger freaking Woods. I'm not gonna get all indignant at the guy. It's like Michael. If you're that famous and rich and can have any woman you want, you almost have to do it. It's too bad that he's married and has young kids, but it's to be expected. There again, I am admittedly morally bankrupt.
  12. Alright, looks like Bowman got it all figured out. http://www.chicagobreakingsports.com/2009/12/blackhawks-to-announce-new-deals-for-kane-toews-keith.html Signings to be announced at a news conference tomorrow afternoon. Great news.
  13. This is ridiculous.
  14. A catastrophic collapse might be the only way to get change. So yes, I'm on board with this. Plus it would be funny if we ended up with a top 7 pick and the Broncos took Bradford or Locker or Clausen and he became a HOF QB. I can't Bear the thought of it. =D> For the pun.
  15. A catastrophic collapse might be the only way to get change. So yes, I'm on board with this.
  16. She's not as hot as Elin, but she's in the ballpark. Anyway, the neighbors are definitely towing the family line. It just a statement from their lawyer, but they are being so blatant with the story the Woods' want out there it sort of makes them not credible. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091201/ap_on_sp_go_ne/glf_tiger_woods
  17. Yeah it's just about what they did the last few games. Tonight, another Vs. game which means us Directv people are out of luck. Crock. Will probably listen online for awhile.
  18. I like Nate Washington against Indy. But I think I would go with Hester and Moss. Washington will probably be behind this whole game and will be throwing.
  19. I have Warner playing on Sunday night against Minnesota or Cutler at home against St. Louis. Of course, if Warner is a last-minute yank again I'm screwed. And if I don't win this one I am eliminated from the playoff race. So I'm going to keep an eye on Warner, but if there is any doubt at all I think I have to go with Cutler. I also have Hasselbeck vs. SF, but Cutler is a better play than him, right? I also have to choose between Benson vs. Cleveland or Jacobs vs. Dallas. I'm so tired of Jacobs sucking. But Benson although Benson is starting, he probably won't get as many carries as usual.
  20. The Rams are better than the Browns, but still, this should be a comfortable Bears win.
  21. Nice to see a network actually hold their on-air people accountable for their performance. Though if Chippy only gets fired, Dick Stockton should be banished to calling jai alai in Kuwait.
  22. I think by punting a whole lot when you shouldn't.
  23. "The Bears have three timeouts left but thankfully they aren't choosing to use any of them." Yes, we are all grateful for the fact that from the middle of the 3rd quarter on it was pretty clear Lovie had no interest in trying to win this game.
  24. If they don't replace the coach because they don't want to spend the money, that's cheap. It says they aren't willing to spend the money to win.
