  1. There are bad teams (like us) and there are really bad teams. Doesn't make me feel much better, but it's nice to see us look good once in awhile.
  2. Bennett, where's your breakaway speed buddy! :)
  3. Come on Forte. Jesus dude.
  4. Nice job D. God he killed Boller.
  5. Was that kickoff intentional? Have they been watching Hester the last two season?
  6. No doubt this is one of those games that will be a sellout on paper but will have thousands of no-shows among our supposedly faithful STH base. When I lived at home this was a Sunday morning when I could almost plan on a couple of relatives calling and offering me their tickets.
  7. S-Jax is active.
  8. Absolutely. The highlights only showed about a second before they went to the ice, but it didn't look like Fraser did anything to deserve repeated cross-checks to the face. I do have a related concern about this team. They can play their high-flying offensive style all season, but they need to be able to play the physical hockey come playoff time. Seems like last year's team (albeit the same guys) was more physical and didn't take any crap. I hope this team can flip that switch at the end of the year. Also, glad to see Kopecky was scratched last night. He deserved it.
  9. Just watched the highlights. Man I love On The Fly. Just based on that, Malkin is a goon, Keith's hit on Cooke was questionable, and this game appeared to have a playoff-like intensity. Can't believe I didn't record it.
  10. I know it's only a small sample size, but Niemi has impressed me enough to where I'd feel very confident with him going into next year if they were able to move Huet. I'm leaning in that direction too. Sorry I missed this one, and really sorry I forgot to DVR it. We've seen the Hawks outclass teams all year, but I can't say I have seen a game where it was clear the other team was better and more talented. Did that happen tonight?
  11. Lundquist has been doing football broadcasts for 42 years and Danielson has been playing or broadcasting football at the college and pro levels since 1970 Which makes their ignorance all the more incredible.
  12. Verne seems to be losing a step. If he ever had it. Tebow is such a poser. The bible verses on his eye black are really a bit much.
  13. I wish I could restart this game and just start from the beginning and count how many times the word Tebow is spoken during the broadcast. I really hope both Tebow gets knocked out of this game and Alabama wins.
  14. Good. And yes, this is a big one. I don't know about all the doom and gloom talk though. In the last 8 they are 5-2-1, right? Sure, it's 1-2-1 in the last four, but I don't see any reason to freak out. I do feel like Hossa has regressed a little since the first few games to the point of being invisible. And I'm starting to very much wonder why Kopecky is on this team. He doesn't seem to be able to do anything well.
  15. Huet finished strong. But again, Ellis stole this one in combination with the Hawks not being able to bury golden chances. Tomorrow night should be entertaining.
  16. Well that sucked. Sometimes this game just doesn't turn out like it should.
  17. Frustrating. Gotta give Ellis a lot of credit, but they have made one too many passes about three times. Can't believe Buff couldn't bury that last pass from Kane.
  18. Thoroughly handled them in the first. Disappointed it's tied.
  19. YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME! JONATHAN TOEWS, SIR, YOU ARE RIDICULOUS!
  20. I read on another board that NHL Network is reporting you got your wish.
  21. Which is what these days? I know for your regular (stupid) UFC PPVs it's $45 or $55 for HD. I'd imagine this will be upwards of $65 for HD. I don't know. We have a bar that shows all the fights and the place is packed for the big ones. The charge a $10 cover, but even then I can eat and drink for less than $55. So I'll probably just do that. Went there for Floyd-Hatton and it was a great time.
  22. Well I'm seeing Warner is a gametime decision, which means I gotta roll with Cutler. SOAB. I can't believe my season is on the line with him. At least he gets the Rams. I hope it's colder than [expletive] out there. As for RB, Benson over Jacobs? Seems like a no-brainer, but I'm wigging at this point. I can't believe this bum I'm playing got 13 from his kicker last night.
  23. He didn't wear those crazy outfits for fun.
  24. I didn't even realize the Hawks were playing in Pittsburgh tomorrow night until I saw this from Sassone. http://blogs.dailyherald.com/node/3026 And Hradek is yapping about it too over on ESPN.com, including his comment that the Pens were better than the Hawks in every area of the game except maybe defense, where it's a push. Seriously? I hope the team doesn't see that bulletin board material until after tonight's game.
  25. ^He looks waaaaaayyy too much like Bruce Campbell to ever be a douche. http://dictated.files.wordpress.com/2008/01/bruce-campbell.jpg
