    10%? If that? I know it's not a conventional approach, but playing with five d-men really helped the Hawks tonight. Buff is a bit of a liability on the back end, and as Hawkeye noted, he might as well not have a stick when he's in the offensive zone because he never gets the puck anywhere near the net. Up front he was very good in the corners and setting up Kane/Toews. On the other hand, you can't put Hendry back in there. So I like this hybrid approach for now. Use Buff on defense a little to limit the minutes of the d-men a little, but keep him in front of Luongo.

    Don King didn't ruin boxing. He was one factor among many. Floyd is an artist, but unfortunately he's an artist at being boring. And he knows this, which is why he cranks up the flambouyant personality. It stuns me that someone with as little power as he has is such a draw. It's unfortunate that their careers aren't going to intersect in a way that would match them up in the ring, because I think Berto's speed would be fun to watch against Floyd. But Berto needs a few more fights before he would be ready for him, and by then Floyd (probably...maybe?) will have retired.

    what the [expletive]?!?!? edmonton is in canada and kid rock is terrible. why would they do this? Just because Canadians are up north doesn't mean they can't be rednecks.

    Everything I've seen and heard the last few days was that the series would start on Friday night. Now the Trib says it will likely be Saturday and the schedule will be announced after the Caps-Habs game tonight. Not that I really care, just don't want to wait another 24 hours.

    Yes he is. And the by far worst (again, like others, admitting my bias but swearing it has nothing to do with this) are Cardinals color guys Hrabosky and Shannon. I try to give Shannon a pass for the stupid [expletive] he says because he's kind of their version of Santo, and I get that. But Hrabosky doesn't have that excuse. He's just a 100%, full-blooded moron. To wit: a few years ago when he said god wanted the Cardinals to win.

    I'm definitely concerned, but I think we have to remember that the Hawks team we just saw for the last six games is not the team we are going to see on Friday night. Completely different styles, and they will (hopefully) be flying high. The only thing is everything needs to make sure they get back on defense because the Sedins will eat Niemi alive if given the chance.

    The Nashville fan was being really annoying and stupid, but that's kind of a dick move ha. That guy will be telling people in Nashville how Duncan Keith squirted water in his face for as long as he lives. And nobody he tells will know who Duncan Keith is.

    And yes, Niemi deserves congrats. He didn't play all that well the last two games, but like Khabi last year, he did enough and made the big save when he needed to. Can't wait to play those dirty canucks.
