It's going beyond the hardcore fans, but I don't think it's captivated the city by any means yet. If you just judge it by the tv ratings the Hawks are getting, we will get there. If we get to the Cup finals, I think the majority of Chicagoans will be on board. Won't be as big as when the Bears got to the final game, but still significant. Oh yeah, I know the Hawks' place in the city. I just hope folks get on board and hopefully the Hawks can make some new fans. I was listening to the score on Sunday and most of the talk was about the Hawks. Last time I lived up there (during the dark ages) the Hawks were NEVER discussed on sports radio. I mean literally never, except to give the scores in the updates.
