    That's terrible. Do no admit this. Time to sell those Sunday tix on ebay, Old Style :) Seriously. I can't believe I'm missing tonight's game, but I will be planted in front of the TV on Sunday afternoon. Nightmare scenario is during the finals though -- we'll be in Florida for most of the first week of June. There better be bars around Sarasota with Versus.

    Forgive my ignorance, but why is McCreary reffing an automatic loss for us? Never mind, I was thinking of Koharski. Fans of every team in the league have an irrational hate for Koharski and McCreary. I suppose some of it for Hawks fans goes back to the widely held view that the league held some grudge against Dollar Bill and the refs took it out on them. Of course there was nothing to back that up, but old school Hawks fans were convinced.

    Me too, but I'll be that guy at the reception hitting refresh on ESPN.com every 30 seconds. I hope Versus shows the anthem. Must be wedding weekend. Fortunately I don't have to go to one till tomorrow afternoon. I didn't even realize this was a Friday thing until a few days ago. Just assumed it was tomorrow. And it is that season in St. Louis. Everyone wants to get married in April and May before it gets insanely hot.

    I think we've got the next Cutting Edge star. I'm scoring that a 9.5. Not sure how Buff would pull off a triple lutz though.

    I'm so pumped, I wish they could play Game 3 right now. But I better go to sleep.

    It's going beyond the hardcore fans, but I don't think it's captivated the city by any means yet. If you just judge it by the tv ratings the Hawks are getting, we will get there. If we get to the Cup finals, I think the majority of Chicagoans will be on board. Won't be as big as when the Bears got to the final game, but still significant. Oh yeah, I know the Hawks' place in the city. I just hope folks get on board and hopefully the Hawks can make some new fans. I was listening to the score on Sunday and most of the talk was about the Hawks. Last time I lived up there (during the dark ages) the Hawks were NEVER discussed on sports radio. I mean literally never, except to give the scores in the updates.

    Heatley looking for some booze and a car to even the odds?? =D> Can't believe we have to wait three days for Game 3. And of course an inconsiderate [expletive] (Blues fan) of a friend of mine is getting married on Friday night. Argh.
